I have a DMX Programmer, I'm having a difficult time building a show. I have 3 pages in scene one that I need to build a show with.
Page one needs to fade in, stay on for 3:20, fade out and stay dark for :10 seconds...Page two needs to fade in after that, stay on for 3:15 fade out and stay dark for :10 seconds...Page three needs to fade in after that, stay on for 4:00 fade out. I have been working on this with no luck. I have the manual in front of me and I just don't get it...No problem building pages and scenes just cant get them into show and for them to do what I need them to do!! I really have more pages to add I just started small since I have done a reset way to many times...Thanks for the help anyone can give!

Mskii4 This is actually a American DJ supported product. However let me see if i can get the tech guy that knows this controller to respond on these forums. Welcome to the forums.

no problem at all. elation made the controller but eventually what happened was we stopped selling them and allowed ADJ to distribute them. That;s what happened. If you take a look at the elation website you will see a controllers distributed by american dj section. Your controller is in there.

I have the DMX Operator, branded AmericanDJ.

Let me pass along a bit of advise. I'm sure it applies to many controllers. I think you're already doingthis:

Have the gear in front of you and the manual open and go through it step by step with the equipment. It is one thing to simply read the manual, these things need hands on and lots of hands on time to learn and use them well. Even so, I still need the DMX Operator Manual to program. I get into a groove, program some scenes, take a break, have to start over again with the next batch of scenes. I document all my settings so my work is overly clerical at times. I just want a fall-back to get me back up and running faster SHOULD I reset or have to start over.

I've moved onto MyDMX, which I like a lot better. I'm going to program my DMX Operator for use with my Par38's for basic shows.
