i reread one of your post and u said it seems like fixture one button is controlling everything so u need to re address ur fixtures in blocks of 16 channels. the dmx operator uses 16 channels per fixture button so if ur total number of channels is around 16 or less u can fit all of them on one button but if u want individual control then re address them in blocks of 16 like this for example.
fix.1 is 001
fix 2. is 017
fix 3. is 033 and so on and so forth. understand? try that when ya can and get back to me.

Your advice was right on the money Jingles. I'm programming, saving scenes, editing scenes, sequencing, and more. THANK YOU!

Once I get the light system all put together (still waiting for a few back ordered lights), I'll try to snap a few photos or a short video.

Hey John- I just purchased a DMX 192 and 4 led cans- i would really appreciate the DVD- Ive never worked with any kind of lighting before and the included manual is next to worthless for a beginner-

I'm sending you an email with my address.

Thanks,
Matt

Help!
Our drama club has a show soon, and soon cool equip we're not using properly,
I think we need the dvd!
We have sd1, 3 color color palettes, 2 dj spot 250.
We get things to 'work' but apparently we have some channel, fixture probs.

How do you assign fixtures? we assign, number set on units, but some things still change with the joystick, and so on. So palettes on fixtures 6,7,8, channels to 27, but the moving heads are on 1 (and 2) but its wacky the palettes are affected. Play in two weeks! Need to get to chases!

Please, I need the DMX 101 dvd! I am setting up lights for a play. I have 3 Colorpalettes, 2 dj spot 250s and a sd1. Things are wired, and I'm no fool, just naive. They, da lights, are movin' flashin' and generally puzzling me, (us (counting students). So we've read what we can, but need the vid!
