Hi, im starting in light desing, recently i get a Magic260, i read the manual but i cant make it work with the fixture of the light i had by the way i buy 6 PAR64 led PRO from American DJ. i only can make it work with the 6ch fixture... anyone can help me?

The Magic 260 will have no problem doing just about anything you want to do with your par 64 pro.

You must choose mode in which you want to run par 64s. I'd suggest 7 channel mode, but it will by your choice. You will need a profile for whatever mode you choose. Unfortunately, the profile for the LED Pros are not in the built-in ADJ fixture library. You will need to get the profile from Sergio at Elation or build it yourself using the Magic 260 software. After you get the profile, you will need to transfer it to your Magic 260.

Then, and only then, you will be able to use the Magic 260 to control your lights. If you still have problems after you have done all of this, post your questions in this forum.

Thank Hobson, how a make the profile on Magic260 software? or how a contact Sergio for the fixture..? the software works on Windows 7?

I can verify that the profile creator program for the magic 260 works good on win 7 64 bit.

Be aware that once you have the needed profile you will need a way to get the profile from your computer into the Magic 260. I use the U-Link USB cable. http://www.sixstardj.com/elamdjucamet.html
