I'm new with Compu 2006 and I don't see in the Manual how to fade my lights out when turning them off. I have some color pallets that have color fading so when I active a color it will fade in, but they don't fade out when turning them off. This makes for an abrupt turn-off at the end of the show. How can I set this up to globally and individually turn my lights off with a fade out? Thanks in advance! Mike

each page has multiple tool bars. Make sure the scene fade tool bar is activated for the page you have your scenes that your are trying to fade. then modify the fade times. John J Lopez Elation Professional

Sorry John, but (as a beginner) your answer is over my head. I don't know anything about each page having tool bars. Can you please be more specific? When I loaded my fixtures they have several different buttons, but I don't know about any tool bars. Thanks in advance! Mike

If you right click on the part of your fixture page where it displays the name of your fixture a menu will appear and at the bottom of this menu you will find a scene fade toolbar option. Select that option. Now to use that feature simply click on the scene you wish to fade and then check the check box to the left of the toolbar. Only use a time in the second box for fade time. The other times are various hold times mainly used for par cans. I hope this is clear enough. I cannot post any screen shots I am away on vacation but I will do so when I come back tomm. Here is a screen shot of what i was talking about. You can see the check marks on the scene those are there to let you know there is a fade time there. If any of this confuses you please feel free to ask any questions that come to mind. Sincerely,

Okay James, I see it now. I'll toy around and see what happens. Thanks in advance! Mike

James, I have some LEDRAIN36 spot lights and using the "red" colored fader (which effects the turn off) I have set the fader to 5 seconds (05.00) and checked the box. The spots still do not fade off. I also noticed that the only time the fader section is active is when I click on INIT. They are grayed out when I click on one of the fixture buttons. Any ideas? Thanks in advance! Mike

James the fade box is checked in Page/Settings/Channels. I noticed the radio buttons at the top say Show Patch or Show Fade/Dimmer. The Show Patch is selected. Would this be the cause? Also, would the cause be that all these buttons are switches and not scenes? Thanks in advance! Mike

you can only dim on scenese, no switches John J Lopez Elation Professional
