Jingles went thru this briefly with me on the phone but I wanted to toss it out to the masses.

RIG: 8 DLED 36, 2 DLED MH, 2 Design Spot 250WH.

Say I want SCENE 1 to have 2 of the DLED36 blue, 2 of them red, 3 of them yellow, and the last one purple: Is there any way for me to set that up if I only created 1 "PAGE" with a DMX starting address of 1 and a "Number of Fixtures" of 8?

Or should I creat a seperate PAGE for every DLED 36 so I can control each lights color independantly?

NEXT QUESTION:

I have 2 DSpot 250WH fixtures.
I want one to be white and pointed at the entry door of the church. It will then be on a timer to pan down the center isle over the course of 10 seconds where it will stop over the altar. I also want the light to have a tight iris at the door and a wider beam at the altar.

While this is going on I want the other Dspot 250WH to be on the altar in a dimmed pink or something.

Again, if I added a new PAGE for a Design SPot 250, told it a starting DMX address of 43, and number of fixtures 2, How do I control the color of each Design 250 light independantly?

Or do I have to create a seperate PAGE for each DS250 fixture?

you can create all that within one scene. position your lights then make a new step by hitting the button i highlighted in the pic below.

now once u have that new step move the DS250 to where you want it and adjust the iris like u want and add a fade time of 10 secs in the top box with the solid red line going up. it should work if it doesnt move down the aisle like you want add a few steps that way the path isnt goin off where you want it too but break up the fade times. let me know or call me if you need help. you know the numbers. sincerely,

About to try that out.

1. Create new PAGE - Design Spot 250 - 2 Fixtures

2. Using the X-Y, I point each DS250 to where I want them shining in the room. Shrink Iris to desired size. CREATE a Scene.

3. I then go to EASY STEP. Create a STEP.

4. Move DS250 #1 to the Altar(destination), adjust the iris to final desired size, and add a fade time of say 10 seconds.

Sound like I have it?

ill sleep when im dead! lol
anyways GOOD news. i got a work around so that way u dont have to add 8 seperate pages.
if u create a switch for each one of your dleds and then link easy step to the channels per fixture. for example. for switch one link to easy step only the faders for led number 1 in the chain and then once u have them all on "0" value and the rest of the channels are on the "OFF" value hit save and close and then make sure your switch is activated and then go to buttons> setting> then change the LTP to HTP and save that. and i gaurantee you if u make several of these all u do is hit the switch adn then move the target on the RGB pinwheel while the switch is activated it will adjust the color and turn on the dimmer and shutter for just that fixture. so it is a tedious work around but its saves you time space and possible glitches in the future. if u need me to exaplain better call me. THE COMPU GURU STRIKES AGAIN!! LOL HAHA!!

this could also be used for individual control i believe for all the functions on the fixture page not just the pinwheel. and may transfer over to moving heads and scanners pretty well too. just havent fully tested it out yet. i basically created my own fixture grouping option!
