Ok here is my problem, I have 2 designspot 250's four accuspot 250's and four q spot 575 for moving head lights. I am using compuware 2048fc. I want to set them up in the 3d viewer to program them but i run into this problem. I do mobile work and have it hanging from a ten foot span truss i need the lights to go out towards the dance floor and most of the pre-programmed movements i have found have really been made with club install in mind and not mobile, but getting back i can probably fix this in the 3d viewer excpet i never know how to position the lights in the viewer (ie what degree if any )and then how to hook them up to truss live and have them do what they did in viewer. Is there a certian way they should be hung up. if you need me to clarify more please let me know and i will be happy to. but can someone please help i love this prgram and what you can do with it but i thought the whole point of the 3d viewer was to be able to program without having to hook up the lights.

well one thing you could do is make a scene with the pan and tilt values so that way the lights are on and facing out on the dance floor and then set up your lights so that way when u play back the scene they are facing the same way as in the viewer then you know they are positioned right and then u can just keep programming. understand? jingles.

wel to do this i think ur gona have to actually use the lights and plug em in but put them on the trus how u would have them but put the pan and tilt channels to "0" and see how the orientation is and try to match it in the viewer. or that is how i would do it. i know u don;t want to actually want to set up the lights but sometimes these things must be done in order to get ur show goin the best way. peace! jingles.
