I have purchased 8 ds 250's and 1 sd3.If I program 10 position's with say a 2-3 sec fade rate all in white,I can't then add color or effects on the fly without accessing fixtures's then using encoder wheels.So what I mean is if I choose p1 then add all colors to that scene so 8 color scene's.I can't make a move to another scene and drop in the color,it stay's white.Is their a way of doing this,I don't have ds 250 fixture profile,so no presets(is that part of problem?).And is their new software,and or operational dvd on sd3 desk.I really could use help getting around this desk better and quicker.Programming times for me have been minimal at best.thanks.

If you record your white scenes you will have a problem stacking colors and gobos on them. Mainly because 1 scene overwrites another scene.
you will want to record your white scenes as presets.
Same with your colors and gobos.. then you can layer these presets on top of each other.
