I have a series of Stage Ape Wide 64 lights that all have the Red and Green sliders reversed. I used Builder to correct the profile, but cannot figure out how to save the update to the correct location for Emulation to use. Any help is appreciated.

Here is what Stage Ape tells us:

For DMX Mode:

Slider #1 controls the green LED's

Slider #2 controls the red LED's

Slider #3 controls the blue LED's

Slider #4 0-16 white (red, blue and green LED's on)
17-31- red
32-47- purple
48-63- blue
64-79- aqua
80-95- green
96-120- light green
121-255- color change (set speed of color change with slider #5)

Slider #5 0-255 slow to fast color change (when slider #4 is set to 121-255)

Slider #6 0-127- strobe (from slow to fast)
128- 131- solid on
132-191- strobe fade in (fades from zero to full brightness)
192-240- fade (lights up and fades out)
241-255- solid on

Slider #7 Dimmer (slider must be all the way up for the functions to work)

Thanks,
Chris

Here you go: http://db.tt/XumSEfk Are you on Mac or Windows OS? Do you know how to place these files and patch them into the program?

Using a Windows PC. I know where to drop the file but do not understand how to patch the file into the program.

Thanks,

If you put the files in the User folder then in the patch section of the program scroll down to the very bottom until you see [User}Stage Ape
Then click that and then find your fixture and patch it in like normal.
Let me know how it goes.

Thamks James!

I was able to get the Wide-64s working, but I still had to go into the .ssl and reverse the reds and greens. That profile still had them reversed.

Any way you can assist with Stage Ape LED86 and LED86ii lights? We're using LED Par 56 profiles now but the blue does not work properly.

Thanks! Appreciate you help!

Sure I can. Post links to the DMX chart info and I will gladly make them.

Also, you also use compu Live .ssl files? Since this is the Emulation section for the program let's just stick to the emulation program and their builder files. If you need help with .ssl files please post in the compu live section of the forum. It just gets confusing to mash them together haha. Thanks.

My apologies. I meant to say I had to open the .xml file to change the coding by reversing the reds and greens.

I am using Emulation.

Here is all I can find on the lights. http://www.stageape.com/manuals/led86%20manual.pdf

Thanks,
Chris

ok here is the new stage ape xml. http://db.tt/XumSEfk
I fixed the RGB channels as you mentioned for the wide 64 and added the "LED 86" for the 2nd blue channel you have a customer fader in the custom section. I had tried adding a fine blue but that didn't work right then i added a cyan one but that also didn't work right. I was gonna try it with a white channel that way they were all in the same section on the programmer side but decided customer was the way to go to avoid any color mixing confusion. Let me know how it works.
