Assigning Groups to Faders

I am evaluating Elation 1.0.10, so I don't have the cue cable attached.

I am having difficulty assigning groups to faders. When I do, and then view the "power" page I don't see any of the dimmers changing on that grid as I move the fader up and down.

Am I missing something in the process of assigning groups to faders that is not in the User Guide?

Hey Red Welcome to the Forums. I Wasn't sure of your question so my developer said this about your question.
"groups are just for selecting and/or for sub masters. I think he needs write a cuelist first that brings up the dimmer levels."
Hope that helps.
Sincerely,

I suspected I had to create a cue list, but this confirms it. Thank you for the quick response.
