Wondering if things such as clamps/dimmers/cables/consoles are to be spec'd as well? Or if it is strictly fixtures in the budget. This is rather important to the design/budgeting process.

Thanks!

I would agree with this. I can easily design as lights only, but for practicle purposes, it seems more feesible to allow at least a side budget for such things as wire, Cable, terminators, connectors and so forth.

This is a great question. My initial assumption was that the budget is a fixture only budget. Since we are using retail pricing I felt that cables, terminators, clamps, safeties, etc. could be included per fixture. We all know we must account for these items, so can someone offer further clarification?

It is a fixture only budget, your infrastructure is included in each fixture price.
I can't wait to see all of your great designs.
Thanks!

Just to clarify, does fixtures only mean we do not have to spec and account for a board and dimmers?

Include dimmers as they would be a necessary element to operate conventionals, but your console by default is Compu Live (free, no need to spec it). If you would like to spec a separate console, feel free to, but it will be taken out of your budget.

Thanks
