I want to re-ask the question about how to take video when it is not an available feature in limited mode.

Also, I am having the same problems as others with my figures (people objects - I can put in other objects (like a drumset) with no problem) not appearing.

Restarting my viewer as suggested by one user seems to have no effect.

Anyone figure these problems out yet?

hey eric. welcome to the forums. about the video question you can download a 30 free trial of snag it. if you go to www.snagit.com the link should be there. snag it allows you to record movies of your comp. monitor. in fact i used snag it to record avi's for the challenge myself. about figures not appearing i tried shutting down the viewer once and it worked but only once. i still have that prob. it is quite weird. but i modifiyed the guitar u can add and just placed it on the figures who were supposed to have guitars or bass. if one way doesn't work usually you can find a way to go around it. i hope this helps. peace! jingles. p.s. are you using the april 2007 update?

Yeah, I actually own a copy of Fraps, a similar video capture program, so I tried that (which is designed for capturing video of games) and it worked, so that's a good workaround. Fraps also has a demo in which you can record 30 second clips.

As for figures, I just decided to use the more basic ones that work- easier on the computer, anyway, and fancy isn't really necessary.

upload it then send me a link so i can take a look at it. usually snag it will make things a lil more like "boxy" then what they usually are but if u run it through windows movie maker and maybe compress it or use the settings for best playback quality for your computer it helps rather than a raw avi file. hope this helps. peace! jingles.

Take a look.

This one is the one straight from snagit and after i imported it into movie maker and then saved as a higher quality video it made no difference except that the already bad quality of the video looked better which made it look worse(??get it??) thanks for you help.

I think it is $37.00. Somewhere between $35 and $40. I'm uploading a video right now to youtube. just wait until you see it. I'll post it under the general disscussion section so we can get out of this thread. k?
