My testing experience with MyDMX and MIDI proved to me(including recent version) that MyDMX must be the foreground application or it will NOT listen to MIDI trigger input. It still otherwise would run any regularly programmed "shows", but it just won't listen to MIDI triggers UNLESS it is in the front.
