we'll the rom empty is another problem in itself.
you need to load the software.

Go to this link: http://www.elationlighting.com/pdffiles/SD2V118.TXT

Then save this file to the CF card,
then put the card in the SD while the power is off.

Then turn the power on..
The file should load..
