SS8 Fog button...

Is there a list anywhere that shows compatible fog machines for the SS8? I have an older (10 years) Roscoe Fog machine, the control cord has the same midi cable and the controller has the same on & ready lights with a toggle switch. I don't want to plug this thing into my board unless I know for sure that it won't burn something out on the console. I don't have the exact model with me (I'm at work right now) but will get the numbers off of it tonight.
