Stored DMX in Artssc

I have had on a few occasions Emulation Pro freeze up on me and needing to reboot the laptop. I typically unplug the DMX cable from the node to avoid a blackout stage , which doesnt always work properly (sometimes it still goes black when it looses DMX) but if i leave it plugged in when I reboot it most definitely goes black. I know the ART SSC can store DMX values and be used as a standalone. Is it possible to program a scene into the ART SSC that will kick on when restarting Emulation Pro ?
