PU about ur previos question i believe all DLED36's have 7 channel capabilities. u just have to address them in 7 channel mode. now are you running all 20 of these with no DMX controler or are you using a dmx controler if so which one. try adressing them in 7 channel each and see if u have the master dimmer function on ch. 7. peace! jingles.

I have a great idea Jingles why dont you tell us how to put them in seven channel mode. My options are 3 and six and it does not matter how you address the control if the light can not be put in seven channel mode itself. I am standing by to buy 20 more units but it is now a long stand by.

It will be a tease too, if you pull the lights inside overnight, auto correct might start to work for awhile and as soon as you put them back up outside... failure. Always leave auto correct off. Continuing on now: The buzzing noise is known as lamp sing, it's caused by the power being turned on and off really fast. The way this is fixed is more expensive dimmers have what is known as a choke after the SCR so the power change is as dramatic as on/off. The better the quality of dimmer, the less lamp sing you will get. Now why non-dim isn't really non-dim. Despite you setting a dimmer to non dim, either via the pack or the console, the power still passes through the SCR and choke. So,...

bdunard, Yes, a wash will be about from 40 brighter than a spot. You have a lot more light being projected along a bigger beam of light. However, that's all a wash fixture does.. color change.. but the beam of light it projects is impressive. Most rigs require a 1 to 1 ratio where you have 1 wash to every spot. So if you have 8 Spots you should also have 8 washes. But with the Frost filter of the Design Spot's it helps resolve not having to buy so many washes. Still the wash effect of a...

The power distro that I built has 5 20 amp circuits and 4/4 cable. Maybe I could add one more circuit to it and get a hubbell connector. The problem is getting someone to tie it in. Do you have a link to the hubbell that you are using? Are you talking about a single hubbell connector that will take 4/4 copper? Second question, just plug and play. You said they have been doing it for a while now, so I am sure you are still fine. After that, I think all your other questions are answered. Generally, all these things are back, side, and/or ground effects and the DLED36s light the stage just fine from the front. Doubtful. If the Impression run about 180w worth of LEDs can go color for color to a 575w discharge, I think the DLED108 will edge out over a 250w discharge. 250/575=.43; 108/180=.6. I know the math isn't as simple as that thanks to differences in the color temperatures of the discharge lamps, but it gets the general idea across. The DLED108 in theory will be about 20% brighter color for color over the 250w. Things to remember about the higher color temperature of the 250w lamp is that it...
