I can say the midi con is awesome. I have seen it at LDI and it has been present at our most recent trade shows. In fact if you watch the namm 2010 video on the elation pro you tube channel you can see it. It is quickly featured. Sorry Jingles. I saw the Pro Bar 4 questions in the general forum and thought that was the correct spot. Plus, my question is really about mounting the Chase Bar to a stand and not actually about the Chase Bar itself. Hobson, I saw the LTS-10 in the picture, but it looks like they pulled the top pole/vertical section off and stuck the pin on the Chase Bar down in the plastic clamp. I may consider that route, but I'll lose the height that the extra pole/vertical provides. I was really hoping...

Exactly! When using my operator pro, I was able to do this by using the fixture buttons on the 3rd row, and I could create scenes with two lights one way, two lights another, etc. Sounds like I made myseld clear enough, which is a problem for me usually Thanks for your help though, I think you know what Im talking about. Are you asking if Elation makes a controller that will allow you to split shows? [The manual for the Operator Pro says it has "Scenes" and "Chases," i.e., it is not capable of creating "Shows."] When you say "step" are you talking about a "Scene" within a "Show?" If so, you won't be able to do that with an Operator Pro because it create a Show in the first place. If you were to get a controller that allows you to creat shows, e.g., a Magic 260, you could create a "Show" for each song. In...

Hobson, Although my posting is a bit confusing, the bottom line is Yes I WOULD need a Magic260 to double my scene capability. On the Operator Pro, I wanted to use steps 1-24 (of one show) for the first song. Then be able to jump to steps 25-50 (of a different show) for another song; as they are not always played in squence. As that I can not jump directly to a specific step, in a specific show (on either the Operator Pro or Magic 260) I must resort to a Magic 260 which will allow me to...

The ssl files do not go in the elation folder in your documents. They go in the elation pro folder on your c drive. Which is inside the SL2006 folder on your hard drive. The elation folder in your documents is for emulation. Sincerely,

John, I want to make sure Kevin doesn't misinterpret your answer. I think he was asking if you can set up scenes with software and upload your work into a 192, and, if not, does elation have a controller that can do that. Your email could be interpreted to mean that you can set up a virtual 3D stage and record scenes using Compu 3D and then upload your work into the Operator Pro. I think you'll need to make a new forum area for "profile requests". Having properly working profiles will really be the difference between an easy or difficult show design. Worse case scenario, I'll just make new ones using the ADJ 64 LED Pro as a template. Fortunately, there are some "sanity savers" in Compu Show that tell me that I'm doing this all right. Well. I am not the best at it. I have mainly made ML profiles. The LED editor only allows for I think up too 4-6 channel profiles. Which channel mode were you wanting for the led pro 38 from ADJ? 3,6 or 7 channel mode? Sincerely,

It would be great to know the meaning of the values for both led and ml. I have a lot of lights to configure and yes.. It is a steep but enjoyable learning curve. I have tried a couple of times to configure a six channel led (the adj 38b pro I mentioned above) and it fails when I load it into the console. Not sure why, but knowing the values for the channels would be a great step forward.

All churches want to get more people in the doors. Just as a light bulb attracts moths, so does a well lit church. the better lit up it is, the more people that will be attracted to it. I am also having the same problem with the online library. We recently purchased the CompuShow SD controller and are running the most recent version of the software (June 8, 2010)and can't seem to access any of the files on the online library. We can see what is there, but when we click on a file, it goes back to the Scanlibrary (Step 1/9) page with nothing in the box for selecting a fixture. I already did that for the Platinum spot 5R. Don't you have the .evg and .ico files? Also the gobo's are the same on the 5R as the 15R PRO. http://db.tt/dWJSG3c download the zip file and extract the folder inside and then copy ALL the files in the folder and paste too scanlibrary folder/icon. You don't need my dmx if you have a dmx operator. My dmx is a lighting programming and playback software that can use midi coming from CU base. So either use your dmx op pro or get rid if it and use my dmx. Sincerely,

I'm using Focusrite Saffire Pro40 as the interface. The chain is Cubase5 - Pro 40 - DMX. Program midi notes on a midi channel in Cubase, which should trigger thr DMX. The keyboard isn't in the loop at all, but i tested to see if Cubase/Saffire was sending any midi signal at all by running the midi cable into my keyboard instead of the DMX. All the midi notes played on the keyboard, so Cubase is sending something, but the DMX doesn't recognize it. Is it possible to send midi that works on my...

I picked up one of these blue boxes and I was hoping to use it on my MacBook Pro Laptop (Summer 2010 / OSX 10.6.3 / 2.66 GHz Intel Core i7) Is this possible; if so, what software would work the best? Jingles, Thank you for your patience and guidance. I removed all remnants of older versions and reinstalled the newest download that you provided and so far so good. I am getting ready to test a few lights using the presets and test it out for a few hours. I do not have any scenes/programs built for my lighting yet. Do you have any preprogrammed scenes laying around for (4)Trackspots, (4) 518 pro, (1) wizard, (1) atomic 3000, (4) ADJ P64 LED. I would like to see how they are built and work...

Hello Guys. I am a big Elation supporter. I own some of the Platinum Spot 5r Pro fixtures as well as the Platinum 5r Beam fixtures. I have a few videos of them in use on my Youtube page. One of my videos is actually a comparison of a Platinum Spot 5r pro vs. an Elation 575e. Other than the fact that the 5rs have small gobos and no animation wheel, they are the clear winner in other comparisons like brightness and the zoom feature just to name a few. I have the same problem. I have a 08 macbook pro running Lion. I do have the latest build of emulator. My iPhone is 4S with5.0.1. I just can't get to remote to load on safari. I did make sure that both device are under the same wifi network. Please help.

Loop, please no hijacking threads. You could have made your own post. The compu pro 04 interface will NOT work on ANYTHING 64 bit. Sorry. I need the fixure profiles for: ADJ Comscan Led ADJ Vizi Spot 5R ADJ Vizi Spot Led pro ADJ Color 150 DMX I am also lost as far as the dip switch settings. What I mean is, I would like to assign my own DMX Address, but am not sure of the proper value of the dip switches. Is there a guide for that? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Which vizi spots are these? LED? 5R? or LED PRO? I have one of the vizi scan led pro's with me but have never noticed any oddness with the built in programs via dmx... I can maybe have our guys in the ADJ office test this if they can. I also am sort of a ADJ tech as I do support for the My DMX program and the Madrix program. Sincerely,

That is the problem of having an American DJ Vizi Spot 5R and an Elation DMX Operator Pro. Felt I needed to ask on the appropriate forum. I am going over the manual multiple times and I agree with what you say. Since you have clarified the lamp position phrase I now know that Lamp position is not the same as fixture position. I figured the light could be used as such, just wondered if the "spot Light" mode, mentioned on the other forum, would eliminate some switches, kind of simplifying it for the people who will be using it, but now I know it does not. Nuts, I don't have the magic, I have the Operator Pro. I may have posted in the wrong forum, saw DMX operators and thought it also included operator pro. But I did find what you are talking about, though I swear there is new information each time I look at the manual. I now see the lamp on command under the last channel, in my case 13. Thanks for your patience. I do have trouble seeing things that are right in front of me sometimes.
