RE: Cyber Pack Help

TeacherX ·
Help! I just purchased four Cyber Pack 20a dimmers and can't understand the user manual at all! (what is a "note number"?) I am familiar with DMX and have used many different types of dimmers, but the documentation for this product leaves much to be desired. I'm wondering if anyone has seen more thorough documentation online that I can access. I'm trying to configure the units to work sequentially so the first pack is DMX 1-4, the next is 5-8, etc. What is the correct menu/button sequence to...

NX4 control surface question

Ryker-HAV ·
We just received our companies NX4 console and I’ve pretty much figured out where everything is and what everything does except for 5 buttons. I’ve looked in the help manual and online but can’t seem to figure out what they do. Any ideas?

ADJ DP-415R blown fuse behavior?

MusicGeek ·
Hello - fairly new to lighting; have been using a variety of DMX-controlled LED fixtures for a while and recently bought this dimmer pack to control some standard lamps as part of a stage setup. Problems straight out of the box - anything plugged into channels 1, 2 or 4 turned on immediately, regardless of whether unit was powered on via switch. Anything plugged into channel 3 was off. LED panel appears to work as designed (able to switch modes, set channel behaviors, etc.). Completely...

Hi for something like this, this is supported by ADJ team and this is the Elation forums you are on, but best way to get a quick response is to email Service@adj.com and someone will help you or give the ADJ support line a call during the day mon-fri. Hope this helps.

Re: Multiple control surfaces

Hi, if you plug in a NX-touch to the same computer running the Wing, you'll see that they are duplicates of each other as much as their hardware layout lets them be. you can even tell the NX-touch to not be the master control device and put it on its own "ID" and you'll essentially have two separate control surfaces, BUT the screen will ONLY show info for ONE of these, so whichever is not on ID 0 I believe you will not see the bank info like cues and stuff, you'll have to do it by memory.

Thanks jingles8302 I think it makes sense. When we get ready to purchase, I'll probably get the NX Touch and give it a whirl on one PC. If it doesn't work our I'll just buy a Laptop to dedicate to the NX Touch. Thanks again.

Multiple control surfaces

Pat ·
I currently have ONYX and an NX Wing to control 7 LED lights. We are upgrading a second set of lights to DMX and are considering options. We have a need for two operators so we'd like two control surfaces. Can I somehow chain a NX Touch to a NX Wing ? I know I could easily control all lights from one ONYX station but.... due to training and volunteers we want a second control station. Ideas from the gurus of DMX please.

Controlling NXT100 with Extron IPCP Pro 555?

Joe Masotti ·
I'm going to be starting a programming job next week. One of the devices the PM wants me to be able to control with the Extron IPCP Pro 555 control processor is an Elation NXT100. The Extron CP can control devices through ethernet, RS-232, IR, and relay ports. I don't see any of those on the NXT100. However, I do see the computer specs for the NXT100 say this: 10/100 Ethernet port for Art-Net DMX output 100/1000 Ethernet port for X-Net, Remote operation and sACN If Extron can write a driver...
