Ok, scroll wheels will be fine, but this is also adjustable duringlive playback? And these shapes, is there a possibility to add a delay over multiple fixtures? So in example 10 heads make a circle, but each with a second delay or something?

What you need to do is create a new page. Select the profile, where it says starting address enter in the 1st fixtures address and then where it says number of fixture type in "2". That will give you one page but access to both fixtures. Mega bar 7 channels is ok. if you want more control go for a higher channel layout like 10 or 11 or something. i am not sure of all the addressing modes. no you do not need to matrix. questins are ok. Better than doing it wrong no? Sincerely,

Hey Chris, I have 3 of the X-310's and love them. In the photos seen here , it is actually one X-310 hazing a stage that is 65' wide, 30' deep, and the fly goes up all the way to about 70' (visible is about 25') in a 2500 seat theatre, so quite huge. I wish I had two when I did this, but only had one at the time. Do to how the air in the theatre moved/s, I had to sit the X-310 center stage. Oh, forgot about the ground fog myself as well. Sorry. I have two different types of ground fog units, an Antari ICE-101 and an Aquafogger 3300. Now, speaking from experience, the only way you are going to get real low-lying fog is via dry ice. Fog chillers aren't nearly as good. The ICE-101 is a fogger with a chiller. The fog sticks to the ground, but as soon as someone or something moves through it or the wind blows, it turns into fog, meaning it raises up and stops hugging the ground. The...

Just a few thoughts. I have 2 of these spots and they don't give me any problems, and I use them with the ADJ Software: MyDMX. First, this light has two operational modes: MANUAL(where you run it yourself) and DMX. Ensure you're in the right mode. That's your first step. MANUAL operation means that besides moving it on your own MANUALLY, you are also operating the dimming and colors on your own. That is manual operation. I think you're referring to "DMX Operation", but you want to bring up...

Ahhh, makes more sense now, just a shorter arc source lamp. Make the point source smaller, make the light brighter. It would also be interesting to say that this new lamp is more efficient then plasma since they have Luminaire Efficacy Rating great then 90%, while arc lamps are normally around 55%. Since I have no specs on the new lamp, I can't calculate an LER for it, but I am sure it is higher then 55%. Ballasts still kill the efficiency of arc lamps and always will. Plasma likewise keeps...

Eric is correct in that footcandle measurements use a single point since the light meters used to measure them are so small. For example, I have a flash light that puts out 17 FC but a few inches away from the center it drops to probably around 4 FC. Basically, you are looking for Lux and not Lumen or footcandles. Lux takes into account area where as lumens and foocandles don't. For example, I can have 1,000 lumens focused onto one square meter and I get 1,000 lux. However, if I take that...

That is a problem with all hazers. They don't fill a space nearly as fast as a fogger can. Generally, I turn my hazers on an hour or two before show depending on how large the space is and how many I have. The show I had my HZ-500 on last week, the stage was 50' wide, 30' deep, and the ceiling went up to about 30'. Wings on each side were about 15' each, so about 72,000 cubic feet. Now that is just stage and doesn't include house space which held 885 seats. So the reason I have the HZ-500 is...

Excuse me for getting low tech and wanting to help you get the job done: 2 suggestions: Power strips/bars and extension cords. If the fuse won't handle the load, it depends where the fuse is inline, and clearly it's in the inbound portion. I thought it would be elsewhere. Use 4 per "daisy chain" and burn 10 or 11 outlets via power strips and extension cords. It comes with a 10 degree beam to start and optional 25 degree lens. Both have all the functions you are looking for in a fixture.

Interestingly, I deleted the offending page "White Stage" DMX channels 10-21 and recreated it. This did not solve the mysterious problem. I...

The Cyberpak claims 2400-watts total output, but that's conditional on 600-watts per channel maximum draw. There is an output limiter, but that's still not going to address your problem. The problem is you need a higher capacity pack. The Cyberpack isn't going to be the right gear for your situation. The DP-DMX20L is 10 amps/channel, 20-amps total draw. Hobson, I saw the LTS-10 in the picture, but it looks like they pulled the top pole/vertical section off and stuck the pin on the Chase Bar down in the plastic clamp. I've actually heard that 10% of the total value of your gear (lighting, dimmers, truss, movers, control) is a good price to charge for equipment. That number would include labor of set up and tear down. 5% is probably a number for someone to pick up and return to you. A straight gear rental. When it comes to movers, programming of the lighting is a different fee. And the fee also changes if the programmer would be on site durring the event.

OK Here goes. As of the last beta of CompuShow I tested, the profile editor still did not allow for a fixture to have multiple R, G, or B slots. Therefor, you can patch a matrix with the full profile but the effects will only work for pixel 1. (Very few console manufacturers have this capability built in to their consoles as of yet.) Build a Matrix of 3 Channel RGB Units. It can be handy to open a 3 channel LED fixture profile in the PROFILE EDITOR and name it Pixel and save it as Pixel.
