It is running : Windows XP SP3 Intel Duo Core 2.0 GHz 4 Gig Ram, (Although only 3.6 will only be used due to the limitation of XP and a 32bit processor) 256 Meg video card (ATI Radeon) and a 15KRPM 76Gig SATA hard drive. OK Here goes. As of the last beta of CompuShow I tested, the profile editor still did not allow for a fixture to have multiple R, G, or B slots. Therefor, you can patch a matrix with the full profile but the effects will only work for pixel 1. (Very few console manufacturers have this capability built in to their consoles as of yet.) Build a Matrix of 3 Channel RGB Units. It can be handy to open a 3 channel LED fixture profile in the PROFILE EDITOR and name it Pixel and save it as Pixel.

I have the same problem. I have a 08 macbook pro running Lion. I do have the latest build of emulator. My iPhone is 4S with5.0.1. I just can't get to remote to load on safari. I did make sure that both device are under the same wifi network. Please help.

Losing control due to Fixture Channels resetting

Easy Show timeline not scrolling
I am having problems with Easy Show using the 11/08 version. The timeline will not scroll correctly when playing back a show using an mp3 file. You never know when one frame ends if it is going to move to the next frame in the timeline or not. At first I thought it must be that my machine isn't powerful enough to keep up graphically. triger troubles

Serious Technical Problem
After I updated compu to the 08 update, I've been getting this message when i open it. "Serious Technical Problem. Please contact your retailer." Then compu boots up but won't do anything. I close it out and I get the message again. any advice? jthtiger

design spot 575e blowng bulbs
I run the lighting for my church where we recently installed 6 575e's in January 08. So far we have had 2 of the 6 blow the bulbs completely out of the sockets. Each dpot has it's own dedicated circuit and both bulbs have blown when the power was turned own. Any help would be appreciated. David Thornton

Design Spot 250 multiple errors
One of my original design spot 250's will run fine for a few minutes then starts having issues. It appears that the first thing to crap out is the shutter then everything but the pan and tilt. I can reset the fixture and everything will function again but only for a few minutes before the same errors occur. Eventually resetting the fixture does nothing and i get the following errors: 05, 06, 07, 08, 09, 10, 13. Any suggestions?

ok just confirmed that the link for the 2-08 version is wrong. waiting to get this fixed. the link as of now gives you the jan 24th update. Which may or may not have the bug fixes that had locked out the english language in the lower two dongle versions. The latest was feb. 26th update. if anybody needs we can mail out CD's of the feb 26th update for you to install via the cd rom drive. please know we are working on getting this issue as well as many others resolved in a timely manner. ...

update: i apologize for jumping the gun here. my compu had crashed about a week or two ago and one of the new features of the software is that if u have a crash it sends a report to sunlite and they will send you out a patch to fix it if they can. now since someone sent me a patch and i added it to the files my version went from jan.24th to feb.26th. so the 2-08 link is correct i apologize for all the confusion. wooo! i must be losing my mind. lol i sincerely apologize! sincerely,

our dongle is acually clear in a long rectangle shape. If I remember right he had it sent up to get a new software update for the 04' verion.... Oh and is the emulator on both the 04' and 06-08' version or just the newer one? havn't looked yet, and if it is does it stay on the screen or can you get ride of it to have more work space? Also, i downloaded and installed 2/08 update a few months ago, and it still says 1/24/08, is this correct? Since i did that, my 3-d visualiser will take 5-10 minutes to load, and then won't close properly either. Any insight?

hey brian. To make what you just described I think it would be better to make that as a switch. Then name them the color you are programming. So just create a new switch, select empty and then program in your color. Also the version you have is the latest the reason it says jan 24 is that is re day the version was released the 2-08 is the month we put it up on the site. there is a newer version than that. If you go to the compu live software downloads page you will see on the second to last link it is called the 2-08 software update. This will give you the jan 24th 2008 update. Try that and let me know. Sincerely,

I saved it to a brand new folder so as to prevent any potential "AUTO DELETIONS" of any of my current programming/custom fixtures/shows/stages/etc. I went ahead and copied over all of my Shows, Stages, and Fixture Profiles to the 08 folder. My question is, if I delete the 06 folder, will all of my Fixture Profiles and Scenes still perform like they should? Also, what are the new updates/improvements in the latest version ('08)? I know he tries to move the windows around and expands the buttons because the workspace is always different then the way I leave it - I am using the most updated version, the March '08, and I have locked out all of the starting parameters, but unfortunately, he knows how to unlock the parameters and access the various functions. thanks for the reply that's pretty much the direction I've been heading, as far as grouping compressed buttons for a song; there has to be an intent from Elation when this was designed, as far as how to group scene/switch for songs; James, do you know this??? as to the ordering, it goes a character at a time, so everything with a '1' in the first character get's grouped, then everything with a '2', and so forth; then the second character comes into play, so '1' then '10' then '11' etc to get...

@ ebac: 08' i have heard will have a lot of cool new features like being able to visualize leds better and also being able to tell the difference between different type of lamp wattages. also there is a whole new coding system. they re wrote the code to make it easier to add updates and bug fixes etc. just be on the lookout i believe i could be wrong but i heard sometime in jan the 08' beta will drop. @ static pro, welcome back chad! jingles!

i would go XP that way u can use all the latest versions and the ones due out aswell. remember the new upgrade will hit in 08' sometime. supposed to be one of the best to date for compu live!!
