eNode 4 pre-sales support questions
I'm considering the purchase of an eNode 4 ArtNet-to-DMX output device. I have some questions. 1. There doesn't appear to be any firmware download available under the Support / Downloads link on the Elation home page. Why is that? 2. I found an article in the forum that referenced a firmware updater appliance (hardware product). Does the eNode 4 indeed require a specialized appliance to perform firmware updates? If not, where are the alternate instructions and firmware update files located?

Hi folks! I just bought the Emulation Software and the MIDICON today. I have a generel question - apparently others than me, tried to get an answer like mine. I cannot get anything out of that. I run the software on a Windows PC. There is some Flash-buttons in the top screen: FOG, STROBE and BLINDER. Scene setter 24 with 4 LED par
I'm trying to setup my 4 LED par, assigning an address of 1 to 5 for the first par(address 1), 6 to 11 for the second par(address 6), 12 to 16 for the third par(address 12) and 17 to 21 for the fourth par (address 17). My problem is all the first 3 par is working will with the faders, except the last par (4th par) is not responding anything from the faders. Hope someone can help here..Thanks!

DMX help with Compu 06
I'm setting up CompuPro to work with existing lights at a club. They have 6 Track Spots that use 7 channels each but are addressed at 16 channel intervals, 1, 17, 33, ect. When I add them to a page in CompuPro it addresses them in order. Whats the best way to set them up so they have 9 blank channels between them. Thanks.

I am wondering why when I start with my first scx500 at address 17 thru 24 and 2nd unit 25 thru 32 ect. ect. untill I have all six set that when I start a new page use explore pick scx500's and the ask if you see beam, 50% and so on my first 4 lights are open and pink and the last two are open and white I'm also concerned that the first 4 lights won't take white with software. Good afternoon, I have yet another silly question. Can I plug my stage setter 8 into the input of the 1024 dongle and control my dimmer packs that way? I wasn’t sure if I could so I just ran another set of dmx cable from the stagesetter to the dimmers. It would make things a lot easier and I would only be using half the cable that I use now. Major Probs with the Magic 260 App
Hi. I have been trying to set up fixture profiles for the Futurelight PHS-700 and PHW-700 to be able to use the magic-board in full. No way. The editing app does not accept the order of the channels I set up. It keeps squeezing the Pan-Fine channel on position 2, whatever I do. Thus, the Heads simply don't react at all. THIS SUCKS. Hi, I've got a DMX Operator that's been having some problems with the sliders. Of the 6 sliders on this board, 5 of them show a range of 0 to 246, and one of them ranges from 17-255. I know that at one point in this board's life they all ranged from 0 to 255. Any idea what's going on and if this is something that's repairable?

A couple questions 1: I can not find in the manual How to set the the fixture. Like fixture 1 to 1 and 2 to 17 (is that correct methodology?) On the board, I know how to do the lights. Trackspot profiles
Is there an updated profile for High End's Trackspots? V1 somewhat works, but V2 does not. (I use the 2006 version of Compuware with the blue interface). With the V1 profile, the Color and Gobo features are all screwed up. For example, Gobo #2, 3, 4, and 5 are all color scrolls, albeit different speeds. Same deal with Color. There's also about 6 or 7 different strobes--which turns out to be different flash rates. Why not just use a single strobe icon with an adjustment slider?

I spent today programming scenses for 4 plat 5rs using the 17 channel profil on the product page. I'm trying to get the color scroll to snap to the next color instead of scroll but can't get it to respond. There is a button in the profile labels color snap yet it does not seem to function. Channel Assignment Q - Newbie
We have an Elation Professional DMX Operator and (4) CMY Zoom 250's. My first question is regarding channel assignment. The CMY Zoom 250 manuals state "... is a 11 channel fixture, you should set the starting address of the first unit to 1, the second unit to 12, the third to 23, and so on." However the DMX Operator mentions 16 channels for each fixture. That would be fixture #1 = 1, #2 = 17, #3 = 33, and so on. So do I set the light fixture address to the Zoom 250 manual or the DMX Operator...

Magic 260 - 22 channel light !
Hi Not even opened the box of our new Magic 260 yet but I have started setting up the light personality using the Magic 260 software. This is our first venture into DMX Ok - we started out ordering a 15 Channel light but ended up taking a 22 channel light So, what I'm thinking is - two fixtures for each light - 16 and 6 channels. Simply use Fixt 2 to control channels 17 to 22. Messy, but it should work, shouldn't it ? John.

Program Closes when trying to trigger stack
I might of found a new bug with the new release. Platinum Spot 5R - comparable to DS 575E?
OK - I like my DS 575E's (although I'm on the forum because I was looking for a tech support solution that has hopefully been solved with a phone call and a PCBoard on its way.) Problem setting fixtures in DMX Operator
Hi. I'm new to the whole world of lighting, and I am having troubles configuring my DMX Operator with two ProDJ Digital LED PAR64 RGB cans. I have them correctly set to channel 1 and 17, and I can control them using fixtures 1 and 2, no problem so far. The problem is that as soon as I deselect, for instance, fixture 1, it won't stay on with the settings I just chose, but go off. Also, I can "blackout" each fixture by deselecting it and then turn it back on by selecting the correct fixture...

I am recording an 18 step scene via the Easy Step editor. I got to the 18th channel with only 17 steps. Obviously I missed a channel somewhere. Basically I need to insert a new Step 13. Need help/advice on best way to assign fixtures
I have worked with thdmx operator pro and assigned 3 sets of led lights on addressed at 1, 17, 33 even though they each only use 7address. Its pretty easy really... 1. Open Compu Pro 06' 2. Open visualizer and load which ever stage you are using for the club. 3. At the top of the visualizer click the little "Add Fixture(s)" button. 4. Patch your 7 trackspots with the "Patch" button if not already done so. 5. Move the blocks around (each representing one trackspot) so that they are 16 channels apart. I have it set up as if the first one was set to 1 then 17 then 33 etc, with 9 channels breaks as you said. Here's a pic to help...
