Matchless. i tried loading the 9Mb file unfortunately it did not load on my machine after waiting 10 minutes! haha. so i checked out the smaller stage that looks really nice. i would recommend getting rid of the floor texture and simply pick a wood type color. and also if you want to choose no walls and no ceiling. this may help or may not i am not sure. you definitely have a weird issue going on with the increase in file size. if it persist i can send your file to our developers and they...

Re: Haze question.

If the space is small, the X310 will have no issues hazing the room out at about 10%. Running at 10% constantly, I have ran the machine for as long as 12 hours and used maybe a quarter of a tank, so he won't run out of fluid fast. Even running at 100%, it still takes a couple of hours to burn through the tank. The X310 is very efficient in its use of fluid.

Again.. Serra is right on it.. Whenever I use the X-310.. I always run it between 10 and 17% continuos. Over 20% and that thing is blasting. I also agree with EBAC... don't use FLG. Actually FLG is a fluid from Antari that we don't import. Elation makes X series Fluid. X-Fog X-Fog Pro X-Fog Ice X-Haze Oil X-Haze H20 X-Bubble X-Snow All I can say is that this is the fluid I use, and wouldn't recomend a fluid I've never used on the X-310II. Hi Jason, This symptom usually sounds like the DMX Driver in your interface is no good. You may not be using an OPTO isolator for protection. You can buy this chip for $10. - $15.00 to replace it or send it in for repair. However i would 1st recommend downloading the NOV 4 edition of compu live using the line Norona posted. This edition installs the driver together with the software, so they are always in the computer. If doing this does not solve you issues, then your interface would have...

Mattrix, The T16F works a little different from the Dp-Dmx4B, so you'll need to assign each pack it's own address. The T16F uses 5 channels of DMX and is automaticaly assigned to channel 1 when placed in slave mode. Raising slider 1 to value 255 will allow you to have control of the 4 channels on the pack using sliders 2-5. The Dp-Dmx4B will need to start at channel 6 (dip switch 1,2 and 3 to the on position). You can assign the same address to the third dimmer pack and control them together...

Yes that's correct. and DMX is really a constant data stream anyways. there is a certain series binary of code every time the faders moves up or down to any given value and even a "0" value code. which is why you still get a dmx signal even though all your channels are at 0. make sense? but there is no need to think of it at that grand a scale for you yet. haha. Never seen anyone ask that question before. ha. disclaimer i am not a DMX expert so if anyone finds a fault in my explaination...

Well, Correct me if I am wrong but that board is mainly for intels. you don't need to setup a fixture profile for dimmer packs they simply dimmer (0-255) the dip switch need to be setup for channel for ex if you want dimmer pack one to be channels 1-4 set it as ch 1. if you want dimmer pack 2 to be 5-8 set it as 5. also there is probably a way to make it run on 1ch 2ch or 3ch. if you want ch1-4 turn all dip switch to off. Also note this is not a DMX dimmer pack. it is an NSI Miroplex one...

Ive run speed and fade variations during and after playback still the same.It slows down even more when fade time is set to 0. It has an uneven strobe effect if fade is above 0. Have you tried resetting the fixture via the console and/or on the fixture itself? Every once-in-a-while a fixture will do that on me and a reset fixes it. Also, which console are you using? It might be an issue in the profile if it is doing it across more then one fixture. Are you using an old DS250 profile by chance? The old DS250 was at 0% intensity when channel 12 is at DMX value 15 vs 0 for version 1.3 and the DS250 Pro.

What you need to do is create a new page. Select the profile, where it says starting address enter in the 1st fixtures address and then where it says number of fixture type in "2". That will give you one page but access to both fixtures. Mega bar 7 channels is ok. if you want more control go for a higher channel layout like 10 or 11 or something. i am not sure of all the addressing modes. no you do not need to matrix. questins are ok. First, this light has two operational modes: MANUAL(where you run it yourself) and DMX. Ensure you're in the right mode. That's your first step. MANUAL operation means that besides moving it on your own MANUALLY, you are also operating the dimming and colors on your own. That is manual operation. Eric is correct in that footcandle measurements use a single point since the light meters used to measure them are so small. For example, I have a flash light that puts out 17 FC but a few inches away from the center it drops to probably around 4 FC. Basically, you are looking for Lux and not Lumen or footcandles. Lux takes into account area where as lumens and foocandles don't. For example, I can have 1,000 lumens focused onto one square meter and I get 1,000 lux. However, if I take that...

That is a problem with all hazers. They don't fill a space nearly as fast as a fogger can.
