What's up everyone. Been using CompuLive now for about 2 months and really am getting into it. I consider myself at the brink of being very good at programming with the software but am running into a few features I cannot figure out. Thanks for your help, here they are:

1) I need to be able to program a tap sync button for movement, is this possible?

2) How can I assign the dmx freeze to a keyboard command or exterior controller?

3) On the timed dmx programming, if I want something to trigger at 9pm for 1 minute, then repeat every 5 minutes, can I do this, as it is not working how I think it should. It comes on at 9pm for one minute, then never triggers back on??

4) Is there any way to arrange the buttons of the main page without having them in alphabetical order? Can't seem to figure that out and when I go and try to de-select the arrange by compression option, it won't let me do it?

I guess that's it for now. Any help you can provide would be great. Also, I am new to this forum but will start being very active as I have taken to this software very well. Anything I can do to help anyone I would be very willing to do, thanks!!!

Passing. Welcome to the elation Forums. Glad to see a new compu live user here.

1) I don't think you can do this.

2) Your the first person i have heard of that uses the DMX freeze option. There might be a way to link it to a midi trigger. but i don't think a keyboard trigger. not entirely sure if it possible to trigger this other than with the mouse.

3) I'll have to check that out and report back to you.

4) nope default sort order is numerical and then alphabetical. Just have to get creative with your naming of scenes.

Sincerely,
Sounds good man, thanks for the reply. It would sure be nice to have a tap tempo feature in the next software. Bascially just something I can trigger to activate the tap tempo feature in the audio analysis box. And I use the freeze button for stops in the music live. Its very effective, while not blacking out the scene, I can stop movement to coincide with the dynamics of the song.

Yeah, I end up numbering and lettering my scene/switch/cycle names to put them in some sort of order. Seems like that would be a very easy fix and/or addition to be able to drag those icons around wherever you want them, maybe not??

Thanks again!!
