I use the Audio analysis all the time on multiple PAR light channels and several Mega Strobes.
It works fine when it is working. What I have found is that the Audio analysis app locks up at random times -- I can tell when it locks because all the PAR lights stay lit. The screen is frozen also on the audio analysis (I run it in the auto mode) and it registers no music activity. Compulive still works and computer is not locked, just the audio anaysis stops working.
I can click the close X and it will pop up a dialog that says this app stopped working or is not responding and gives the option to kill it. I can kill it and launch it again from the toolbar in Compulive and it works again -- but I have two icons in the taskbar showing for the audio analysis. If it does it again (lockup or stops working) I ususally just reboot the computer to clear the icons off the task bar.
I am running this off a laptop with a creative audigy 2 ZS card. This is the only thing running on this computer.
Any suggestions or tips?
