In This forum you can discuss tips, tricks, and troubleshooting for Elation's Next Generation Compu Live software, "Compu Show".

So I bought a brand new pretty powerful All-In-One HP Desktop, and have deleted a few of the bigger programs that would cause the computer to slow down...but I still have problems when the lights are running full blast. The mouse will skip across the screen and it makes it pretty annoying. Do I need a bigger processor or more ram?...Or both?

It's not always about the speed, alot of new laptops install a lot of junk that is not needed, and worse it is set to start everytime you start your pc. Try going to Start> and in the "Search Programs and Files" Box and type MSCONFIG then enter. Go to the "Startup" tab. Uncheck all the items you don't need (This is reversible just check the items you want to re-enable). I usually even uncheck my antivirus and such as that slows down or takes up a lot of resources. You pc will even boot up faster with the least amount of programs running in the background.
