I bought 4 used fixtures, one of which had been sent under warrantee back to elation for a new ballast and never taken back out of the box upon its return. When I hung them up, the one with the new ballast did not strike. After swapping lamps and then ballasts, it was determined the new ballast was bad, so I replaced it and the fixture worked fine for 30 hours of operation, then would not strike again. I swapped lamps and still nothing, so before I burn up another expensive ballast, why is this happening? After 2 ballasts "going bad" I doubt it's just bad luck.
