Does anyone have a profile for the Design Spot 300 PRO that I could use on my ETC SmartFade ML? I was recently "donated" a few of these fixtures that were no longer being used elsewhere in the casino for me to use on my stage at the Hard Rock Cafe. I've built a user profile for many of the features, but I haven't figured out how to control the lamp on/off functions from the SmartFade ML's "Lamp on" and "Lamp off" Device menu. Because of where these fixtures are located, it is very cumbersome to turn the lamps on and off manually each day. I figured that if there was a pre-built profile for these fixtures that it might include that function. Is this possible? Also, I can't directly access the gobo wheels from the SmartFade's "Beam" buttons, like I can with my Design Spot 250's.

A Herrbach,
Good evening I read through your post and I thought I'd let you know that although it is an Elation fixture you would need to contact ETC to provide you with that particular profile. Our Customer Support Dept does not have the means to create profiles for lighting controllers and software other than our own line.

As far as lamping on and off the fixture, we reccomend powering your fixture off if it will not be in use for an extended period of time (ie overnight). Even with the lamp powered off heat will continue to rise and may damage some of the internal components. There is still some sort of wear and tear taking place even if the lamp is off. A great analogy would be like leaving your car parked with the engine on constantly. Although no mileage is being put on your car's odometer something will eventually give out. We always suggest installing some sort of circuit breaker to power off your fixtures when they will not be in use for an extended period of time. I hope this information comes in handy. Let me know if you have any further questions.
