I have a DMX Operator with a mixture of traditional dimmers and LED fixtures on it. All works as expected with the exception of one thing. The fade slider does a goofy thing.
Last Sunday, I needed to black out and immediately fade up on a scene (I have not tried any of the auto features, or the chases). The black out was easy, I had programmed a scene position for black. I simply pulled the fade time all the way down, and touched the black scene. To fade in the next scene, I supposed that I could simply bump up the fade time slider and then hit the next scene.
That's where the problem came. If I slid up the fade time within a few seconds of blacking out, it brought up the previous scene "in the process of fading." But it had already gone to black!! It is like the fade time is changeable even after it has finished a quick fade.
So, how do I go from scene A to scene B immediately (blackout), then immediately start a slow fade into scene C, without scene A jumping back on acting like it is hadn't finished a slow fade?
I hope this makes sense to someone. It sure threw me for a loop last weekend.
