I have 8 scanners, 4 color splash jr's, and other lighting in my setup. If I run the DMX cables to all 4 of the color splash jr's first everything is fine. If I hook them up in any other configuration with the rest of my lighting they, and the lights hooked up to my 2 dimmer packs, flicker and blink. The flickering seems to be random. Any ideas. I tried everything including using a distro box to supply the DMX chain with auxiliary power and they still do it.

I am using the Compulive software as a controller and I made a mistake, the LED's are Oops, my mistake they aren't Elation LED's they are Chauvet Color Splash Jr's. This started once I started using the Compulive software. It never did it when I was using the old Elation Operator hard controller. Also my Chauvet Intimidator 1.0's used to snap to a new postition really fast. Since using the Compulive software, they go much slower from point to point. I think the problem is the software but, I love the power of it and don't want to go back to my old controller!
They are just cheap Intimidator 1.0's. No speed function that I know of and they worked fine before. OK, they still work fine they just move so much slower than with the hard controller. Can you think of any reason for this? The LED's are a new addition to my setup. They are cheap ones too. If I use the old hard controller then all the kids play nice together no matter what wiring configuration I use. Could it be the dongle is somehow bad?
It might just be the Color Splash Jrs. Some DMX toys don't play well with others. Chauvet in particular has quite a few products known to 'act up' so to speak. My point is, have you tried taking components away from the setup when ran differently to see if the problem still continues? Try just the dimmers and Intimidators and see what happens then, just dimmers, etc.

Also, it might be a baud rate/refresh rate thing as well. I use to work in a theatre which had an old Colortran (Colorcrap is more like it) ENR 192 dimmer rack. The lights would ghost aka flicker randomly when the refresh rate on the console was too high, or at least it would do it more when it was too high. Are there ways to adjust the refresh and/or baud rate on Compulive jingles?
I have the 1024ec. I bought it second hand and it doesn't have a s/n. Jingles and I have talked about this before. It came with all the peripheral components in a labeled box so I don't think it is pirated but....who knows. I am getting to the gig early today to try different setups while adding a single component at a time to see what's up. I'll get back to you tom.
