Firmware file?

So I have a 260 that started glitching and losing all it's programs, profiles. Connected Ulink and reloaded profiles.. programed some shows (4 hours worth) and turned it off only to have everything wiped again. While saving the thing is acting buggy wierd characters on the screen (all things discussed here in the forums before). I replaced internal battery and purchased a new power supply but that didn't fix the issue.

I'd like to reset it and re load the firmware to see if that fixes it but when I called ADJ tech support the guy who answers the phone said they don't give that out even though the option to clear the whole thing is on the regular user menu.

Anyone have the firmware? Mine has 1.02 so I'm sure it's fix a lot of issues to get a newer set in there.

I Had the same problem with one of my 260’s they told me it had to be shipped back to be done. Have to burn firmware using eprom programmer.Also there were more changes with the newest firmware that they had to changeout some other parts. (Z-M260-PR $28 and Z-M260-PROCC $30) Out of warranty it cost me $100 plus shipping

Thanks for info! I'm a technical person and the guy that answered the tech line didn't seem to know anything about it and was unwilling to do anything but say send it in. All he had to do was connect me with you! Haha. Now for profiles? ADJ doesn't seem to be helping with those anymore. If anyone has profiles ill put them on a server for others to access.. why ADJ doesn't do this instead of making some tech Handle the same requests over and over I don't know.

You can download the software from free to create profiles on the magic 260 site but ity does not come with a manual or does not explain how to use it. Sometimes you can post on here what you are looking for and someone will create it for you but hope your not in a hurry. Buy the way some stuff you will find on this forum and some you will find on the American DJ forum. Some of the same techs work both forums too! Im not really Empressed with the Support I get from American DJ or Elation right now. I have spent almost $40,000 in elation gear over the past 3 years and simple things like a Firmware update I don’t feel like I should have to pay for to fix a problem with their product. I get free Firmware updaters from my Cell phone company to their stuff in or out of warranty.

Yes, I have the software, I created profiles. They worked but the board loses memory and sketches out. When I reload the old profile set the board seems to be rock solid and keeps memory as it should. So I suspect the profiles are corrupted. Secondly, a fixture like the ADJ QA series par has a complex usage in 8 channel mode and how to program the board to handle channels that have three different modes depending on the other channels value.
