i've fixed the issue. Seems somehow the prism rotation was linked to the pan channel on both 10 and 12 channel modes. but it is fixed now.
for the intim 2.0 scanner, that is the one with the barrel on it yes? if you go to the position part the barell should move left or right and then in the Misc part there is a fader called "BRRL" this gives you access to the rotation of the barell drum. Let me know if this helps.

The chauved fixture is a flat mirrow scaner HTI discharge lamp

Send me a link to the fixture on the chauvet website and I will find and fix it.
The only profile in the chauvet library is the intimadator 2.0 which is in the library as a barell effect.

NVM that last post. I found it and made the profile. I guess it was not in our library.

Can go head and drop the XML file right away or i have to first delete or remove the old XML file...

you should be able to just let it over write. Are you placing it in the user folder or factory? Be careful if you place in factory as it will get overwritten when a new release is installed but this profile should be in the next update.

I place it in factorey I was ask to replace the file and thats what i did.....
I olso remove all the other xml files from other manufactures that I dont use, it won cause any bugs right?

I don't think so no. but if you have troubles a reinstall will fix it and i have a back up copy of the chauvet xml on my dropbox.

i have good and bad news...
the XML file for the vizi beam does rotate the prims however once the spind effect is active it won go back to spot...unless I click clear. this of course will set the selected fixtures to home position and clouse thoutters and no color.
the chauvet XML fiel does pan, till, moved gobos and color but the strobe effect is missing. I try the two effect sliders but all it does is scrowl gobos and shake gobo.
fixture are OK they all reacted the same way...

ok for the vizi beam. to clear out the prism and the rotation without clearing the entire fixture simply right click the ROT fader for the prism rotation and also select the open slot for the prism channel.

For chauvet you must not be using the right profile. The one I made for you is the intim. 2.0 HTI profile which has the strobe "STL" fader on it and there are no misc parts for that fixture.

vizi beam is perfect.

the chauvet unit does strobe but only on spot if a logo is projecting it will toggle between the last logo and the current logo.i dont think it strobing with the shoutter.. as it should.

Wait sorry. I see now what you mean. I fixed it. the strobe linear is now the full channel range from 0-255. It will do different functions but i think it is better to have it all on one fader rather than spread out.

yes that the same data I have in users manual dmx channels values...
the copy of emulator I install on Win XP work a bit different. but we cant always have it all..
As you said its how it was desing to work... any how I have a pair of atomics if I need some strobing LOL..

Yes I gree is better to have independent sliders for each channe.
still it doesnt create a strobe effect is more like if was scrowling thrught the gobos... it only strobes on spot when i try to to strobe when a gobo is selected is just scrows backa and foward..
ill try to pull that XML file from my winXP copy ill let you know how it goes..

Well that is what a gobo strobe is. the wheel just really fast switches between two adjacent slots. I really don't think this fixture even has a single flag dimmer on it. might just be a filled in "hole" on the gobo wheel to achieve blackout. Make sense?
