You can achieve this effect in a two Scene Show.
A "Scene" is the same thing as a step in a Show.

Save one Scene (Scene 1) which is all white and another Scene (Scene 2) which is the color to which you want to fade.

Create a two Scene Show which has Scene 1 as the first Scene and Scene 2 as the second Scene.

Set the Scene duration for Scene 1 to however long you want the white to stay on before it begins to fade to the second Scene. Set the fade time to whatever you want. Be sure that the M260 is not in tap tempo or audio mode (so that the duration times you set will control).

If by "flash" you mean that you want some extra punch when the white comes on, use a three Scene Show. Scene 1 would be all white at full intensity. Create a Scene 2 which is all white, but a lower intensity than Scene 1. The fade color would be Scene 3. Set a very short duration for Scene 1 and a longer duration for Scene 2.
