I have the sd3 and got me a yahama ez-200 keyboard. thing is I have no clue what to do to get this to be used to trigger scenes. all the sd3 notes on midi and yamaha midi notes are really confusing.. I got me a midi cable from guitar center and plugged it in from the sd3 midi to the midi out on the yahama ez-200. all I got it to do is trigger scene 1 from page 1. thats setting the midi channel to 1(1 of 16 channels), tried different voices, styles, tones. all really not clear... so has anyone out there had any luck. it would be awesome to use the yahama to trigger my elation platinum 5r scenes and to set up to bump colors on the LED par cans or light bars. there is 61 keys counting the black ones too.

The SD3 doesn't use MIDI notes to call scenes, it uses continuous controller messages instead. The best way to use it is to record what comes out the MIDI jack when you select a scene and then play that same message back to call that scene.
