syncing to mp3

i have compu live with a 1024ec dongle. my original plan was to use easy show to sync music and click tracks to the programmed lighting show. but much to my chagrin, i found out that the easy show only works with the FC series. is there anyway i can play an mp3 track that will sync to a programmed show with out getting the 2048FC.

MBT Welcome to the forums. You can still use easy show but instead of live triggering it. save it as a cycle on the master page. and then once the cycle is created you can then simply play it back however the audio wont be a part of the cycle. But there is another work around for that if you intrested. let me know. Hope this make sense.

thank you so much. that makes sense. If you could tell me how to sync that cycle to music that would be great. Were setting the light show to a click track so the drummer can be on time with the scenes. thank you
