Hi, I'm working at a church and we use normal fixtures (Source Four, etc) on our stage, along with 4 Mac 500s and 4 of Elation Color Wash. There is such a stark difference in the color temperatures of the Normal fixtures, compared to the "intelligent" lighting fixtures.

Has anyone had any luck creating a good look on camera while using both. Right now, I have a someone that has two white balance settings and has to switch between the two, depending on the shot. Do I just need to white balance with both lights hitting a white card at the same time?

Thanks!

Discharge lamps will always operate at a higher color temp then halogens.

You need to use the color correction filter on the color wheel (if the fixture has one) and warm up the color temp to 3250k-3050k to match your S4's.

What elation fixture are you using.... we don't have a product just named Color Wash.

Thanks!
I have the ColorWash 575 AT. It came with a box that says orange module that goes into the light, but other than that, I'm not sure if there is anything to correct it. Thanks!
Sorry, I just realized the light I've been trying to fix wasn't our Elation, but a Robe. Sorry. I figured it out on that model.
