In HTP mode, the playbacks are looking for a single dimmer channel for each moving light fixture to assign to the fader. In LTP mode the fader will control all channels. The 32 channel generic fixture won't give you control over all the channels in HTP mode.

HTP mode should work with conventional dimmers.
