Hello! I have a whole bunch of Elation Seven fixtures, all of which are being controlled by the new MaestroDMX controller. I also have a SixBar 1000, which simply refuses to respond to DMX input. The SixBar powers up, and it even PASSES DMX signal through to other fixtures...but refuses to work with the MDMX controller. All 'internal' programs work...I can set it to the Dream program for a fill-in type of mood lighting, and it works fine. Unlike the Seven series, there doesn't seem to be any...

Try putting it into a basic channel mode like 6ch or 8ch and use the same starting address as one of the other fixtures and see if it simply "does more" or not. That would at least rule out a bad profile, i think.

I had this same issue. It started as an intermittent issue. It took extra setup, but I could operate the light with the network port using Artnet protocol. I ending up having to purchase a "LA3429-02D DISPLAY PCB FOR SIX BAR 1000" part that fixed the issue.
