Curious to know if there is actually a Sixpar 300IP DMX connector wiring "pinout" and color code. What is considered Pin 1, Pin 2, or Pin 3 on that connector?
On a bad fixture, I cut off and cut apart one of those. Two wires, red and white, surrounded by a braided shield. The braided shield goes to  the pin below the notch. Looking at the face od the connector, red is left pin and white is right pin.
Anyway, just curious.

Oh...FWIW, I have asked Elation 4 times now about this with no answer. I reckon it's a secret.

Hey thanks!

FWIW, what we're doing is changing out the 20 year old, original connectors to Edison/XLR. Way faster. And repairable if/as needed.

However, our Sixpar 300IP fixtures, IN/OUT wiring colors are:

Red, white, surrounded by a braided shield. As with a mic cable.

Using those colors, I first wired them using Red as positive. Turns out that was out of phase with the GrandMa 3. Rewired using White as Positive. Haven't actually used them like this but they do come on and are Grand Master dinmable on the GM 3.

Stay tuned.
