SD2 record new scene issue

When I try to record a new scene after pressing "record" and then "scene", the lights will be reverted to the previous scene used before I can assign a number to the new scene. I have deselected all fixtures, presets and scenes before attempting to setup and record the new scene. This issue started a while ago and went away on its own, but now it is back and won't go away. The software is up to date (1.20). Any ideas?

Color Chorus 72 Brightness Issue

We have 4 Color Chorus 72 fixtures. We have them addressed and assigned properly. One of the 4 is not as bright as the other three even when the fader is at 100%. Our lighting control system is Avolites Titan Mobile. Any suggestions on correcting this?

incyoverhead , Good afternoon I'd like you to record a few scenes, but before recording them and what not I'd like for you to hold the BLACK button for a few seconds so that the LED button turns on and shuts off. This will bring all your DMX channels to zero. Now try selecting your fixtures and recording a few new scenes (holding the BLACK button first before recording each of them). Let me know if this resolves your issue.

RC, Thank you for getting back so quickly. I have attempted your suggestion several times , but I am still getting the same results as before. Is there any way to do a factory reset? I realize I may have to reload profiles and patch all the fixtures again, but this might also fix another issue we have been having with the color LED bars "dancing" instead of just fading into new scene. Our second issue is not that important due to the fact that normally I set the stage color and leave it...

Hi. I am trying to put in a new program for a new production. Out of the blue. My password is not accepted and now I cannot record any of my scenes. I know when put in the password the lights are purpose to blink. Plus when you are in a rec step. The light should be on. I got nothing. Is there something wrong?

You can Erase All Memory on your controller and bring it back to factory specs by holding down the MENU and ADD buttons at the same time and scrolling through the menu until you get to Erase All Memory. Once you're there press ENTER and follow the instructions. The only way to access Erase All Memory is by holding these 2 buttons. It could be that some sort of file may have corrupted on your SD2CF causing these issues so that's not a bad idea. Another thing I'd like you to do is get in the...

please set address and mode identical to another fixture with proper output. if the output still isnt as bright then please perform a "hard reset" via the menu go to FUNCTION>RESET DEFAULT> ARROW UP TO ON AND HIT ENTER: The unit will default to address. Please set your mode and address and retest. if not successful then please contact support at elationlighting.com we will most likely need to bring this unit back for repair.

Permanent Dmx Ghosting Issues

Hi everybody! I am currently renovating a permanent install which was a mess. I have found two unknown Dmx 5 pin leads that look like they are home runs from the dimmers in the back to the console. I am having ghosting issues with these two Dmx lines they look like two separate lines. There is no problem with the console because there is only one dmx line that runs to the dimmers and they work perfectly. Do not know the brand of the dimmers. I am wondering what my next troubleshooting steps...

Elation LED Spot II Locking up

Hey everyone, I am working with six different LED Spot II moving head fixtures, and they are all having the same issue. They will randomly lock up and not respond to any DMX control signals. The only way to fix it is with either a power cycle, or to wait until the fixture automatically does a fixture reset. After which, everything is back to normal until it locks up again. It only seems to effect the LED II fixtures, and not our LED III fixtures. Is this a common issue? Is there a way to fix...

Color Chorus 72 Fading Issue

Hello, I am having some fading issue from our Color Chorus 72. We set it in RGBA 4 CH mode with Stander Curve. It snapped out properly in zero count when the intensity is over 30%; but when it is lower than 30%, if I try to snap it out, the red and blue dial will linger, and fade out in 0.5 sec, while everything else function properly. Same issue happened when I set it to a different mode, and I already tried hard reset. Does any one had this issue before? How did you solve the problem?

I have 6 Artiste DaVinci units that all have varying degrees of difficulty focusing on the gobos. I can set up all 6 of them in the same room, pointing the same distance, connected to the same console, on the same gobo slot and 1-2 might be in focus while all of the rest of them are fuzzy. The problem persists for both gobo wheels and using the auto-focus feature doesn't help. The focus even changes from one gobo slot to the next on the same gobo wheel. Platinum Wash ZFX Flickering Issue

My client has some Elation Platinum Wash ZFX Pro units in a permanent event space install. I do an annual maintenance sweep for them. Last year a couple of the units started to flicker when they get close to full on (R, G, B, W emitters all at or near full). If you take the edge off and lower some intensities, the problem goes away. I replaced the LED driver boards in both units and the problem went away. Greetings, you will need to replace the wiring harness that goes from the base to the led via the arm.. this typically will resolve the issue. (red/blue wires) UPDATED WIRING HARNESS FOR EPW880 (elationlighting.com)

greetings, yes i work for elation, we have seen this issue on units with higher hours on them. over time the current demand increases slightly and the existing cable is not quite thick enough. this being said there maybe other issues which may require attention but based on your description this typically resolved the issue.

I am facing same problem, there are 6 elation wash are flickering in my rig only whenever I turn white color or dimmer color on. no flickers in blue , red ,green,.i had parked white color for some lights looks good some times suddenly flickers. i feel it is main PCB issue not the cable . main power cable (red&blue ) seems good because I checked with multimeter they are giving right volts 28.28.

Hi there! Yes. I succeeded changing the cable for the new version. Problem is solved. Did you meter power at the head with all emitters at full? I definitely found that with everything at full juice, there was a slight voltage drop that I thought at the time was negligible, but it turns out it was the cause of the issue. The new wiring harnesses I installed looked and felt identical to the old ones, but definitely solved the problem. My only guess is that the original harnesses must have had...

Dartz 360 Firmware issue

Hey there, I have a dart 360 that is not working correctly. I can use intensity, but the pan and tilt are non-responsive. When I looked at the software u1 + u5 had software but u2-u4 had nothing there. There's nothing different across the rest of the lights other than the software difference. Picture for reference, please advise

You may require a Pan/Tilt PCB and or other. U1 is the Main PCB, a software flash may be required as well once the cause has been determined.

I have a bunch of old Platinum Spot LED Pro II fixtures that I am trying to fix up, a number of them have similar issues and a couple of them have unique issues. After setting off the machine it shuts down ,we have to constant reset it for it to power back up . now it would not reset at all.

How have you been resetting the unit? Unplug the power cord and plugging it back in or someway else?
