Neutrik and Seetronic Ethercon Compatability

Has been brought to my attention that there may be compatability issues between Neutrik and Seetronic Ethercon.

In short, Fixtures are fitted with Seetronic IP Ethercon plugs, existing looms and snakes are fitted with neutrik connectors, unsure which exact model they are using. The locking tab on the panel mount is not holding the connector in place.

The end customer wants to run everything over IP instead of standard DMX

Has anyone experienced this first hand or resolved this issue before and can shed some light. If the 2 cable brands are inherently not compatable, is anyone aware of an adaptor to go between the two, short of making in house
