Re: Elation Satura Profile G5UFan1 Er

Hey @Michael Dimsey , I would check number 5 board. That board would be the PCB with 7 Drivers Located towards the LED Source. It should have a sticker labeled HY1324/5U01, or the board should have a PCB1127-0-C. That fan should go to that board and connected to 5JB1. I would just follow that connection to the fan.

Satura Series Fixture Firmware

Uses E-Loader uploader tool. Satura Profile Firmware V1.0.10 You should not attempt uploading the firmware to the fixture unless you have read and fully understand the instructions that came with the relevant Fixture firmware uploader for your fixture. Clicking this link will take you to the Software uploader section of our website so you can pick the correct uploader tool for your needs and fixtures. If you do not see your fixture listed, please contact Firmware@elationlighting.com

Satura Led Spot Pro v2 Standard - suddenly fading out/in

Psych ·
Hi Guys. Any ideas on what is the problem with Satura Led Spot Pro v2 Standard fixture that is constantly fading out & in during operation? Is it the module problem or power supply? Do I need to replace parts for this issue? Any inputs and advise are highly appreciated. Thank you

Greetings, this can happen due to overheating, check the fans @the led engine and insure they are rotating properly and to speed.

Sounds like a data issue, are these in a permanent install, if so then replace the data cable and recheck. also it maybe an issue with the display

Satura Spot CMY PRO - erratic behavior

Jules ·
I have six Satura Spot CMY PRO and of the six I have one that randomly flashes on and off and moves slightly during performances. None of the other five units have displayed this erratic behavior. Not sure what's causing this and if it need to be sent in for repair or it's some other issue.

These fixtures are using wireless DMX to a EWDMXT connected to my ETC Ion console so no data cables.

try hard wiring the fixture and see if the issue goes away. this maybe an issue with the Receiving card which is on the display or the display itself.

Unfortunately we do not have hardwired DMX distributed throughout the theatre. I might add, it also spins through a series of colors and perhaps gobos as well on initial start up (where the others do not) and rarely starts acting erratically until underway in a show full of cues.

@Event Lighting Dir How did you figure it out? I'm having this problem with one of our fixtures

It’s likely a power supply or driver issue. Check connections; if secure, replacing the power supply may fix it.

@ True Foley There is a THERMISTOR attached directly to the LED chip located within the cooling fins. The temperature of the chip changes the resistance of this thermistor resulting in a temperature reading for the fixture. When this thermistor starts to fail, it fails in the direction of "overheating" which causes the fixture to fade off for safety. this thermistor is not easily replaced in my circumstances. its tiny and very close to other critical and delicate components of the LED chip.
