Satura Spot CMY PRO - erratic behavior | Elation Lighting Forums

I have six Satura Spot CMY PRO and of the six I have one that randomly flashes on and off and moves slightly during performances. None of the other five units have displayed this erratic behavior. Not sure what's causing this and if it need to be sent in for repair or it's some other issue.

Sounds like a data issue, are these in a permanent install, if so then replace the data cable and recheck. also it maybe an issue with the display

try hard wiring the fixture and see if the issue goes away. this maybe an issue with the Receiving card which is on the display or the display itself.

Unfortunately we do not have hardwired DMX distributed throughout the theatre.

I might add, it also spins through a series of colors and perhaps gobos as well on initial start up (where the others do not) and rarely starts acting erratically until underway in a show full of cues.

These fixtures are using wireless DMX to a EWDMXT connected to my ETC Ion console so no data cables.
