Power connection for Fuze Pendent Light

Manav ·
Hello, I am looking to install Fuze Pendent lights for one of the projects. I need to know how is power connections can be done for multiple lights mounted in ceiling? Can I do loop in loop out connections or each Pendent needs to be connected with individual power connections? Can you please help with proper connectivity between multiple lights. Thanks & Regards, Manav

As per the below there are 2 power supply Internal and External? Can you please advice how does that work? How the connectivity gets connected to make sure all the PD lights are connected and we get them working? My question is that do we need External Power or we can use Internal Power? If we can use Internal Power how will it work and what will be connectivity? Thanks!!!

where are you located? also on page 10 the general power connections are outlined. this should be sufficent information for the electrician. between this information and current load, the electrician should be able to calculate how many outlets etc would be needed based on your particular needs/ also local building codes as well.

Can you please share connectivity diagram if possible? This would really help? How can we connect multiple PD Lights? If you can share some insight it would be really helpful.

Greetings.. there is no connectivity diagram per se since they only have one power in. your electrical contractor would have to design a grid. the specs are listed on the web page, your electrical contractor will need this information for load calculations.

Well can you please provide both methods as we would need to work with electrical contractor. As of now I don't have any information. I am new to this and would need your help to guidance as of in typical scenario how can we do the connection? Once you share this info I can get back to my electrical contractor and provide him our options and ask him to choose how they want to go with same. Thanks!!!

First fixture in DMX chain keeps getting fried

TheJunctionCenter ·
We have been experiencing this problem ever since moving into this venue. If anyone has any insight we would greatly appreciate it. We have had an electrician come look and install a UPS in case this was a power surge issue but it is still happening. Our house lights are the color pendant series. We have a second, smaller room for other events that has newly installed sixpar 100's as the house lights. In the main room (with ther color pendants) the first fixture in the DMX chain continually...

Greetings, for sure you are getting an excess of voltage on the data line. also its not uncommon to have other PCB affected if a voltage related event occurs (collateral damage) long term. you may have to have an electrician use a scope VS just metering voltage, this may reveal some anomalies affecting your lights.

Elation Platinum Beam 5r ex not powering the lamp

Dirkbob ·
Hello! I am having a problem with my Elation Platinum Beam 5r ex. When I tell it to turn the lamp on from the screen it doesn’t turn on. Is this normal? I was not connected to DMX at the time of testing if that matters.

Hi sorry to see you are having issues, 1) Are there any error codes on the units screen? 2) Has the unit been working fine and then all of a sudden no lamp output or was there any kind of "trigger" (power outage, spike, lighting strike, etc) 3) How is the unit controlled/powered normally?

1. No 2. No events, but was working before 3. We are attempting to patch it into our system, and we currently can control p/t, but the intensity controls the gobos, the frost controls the intensity, and a couple of other weird things. Update: I got it to power on. It was set to have a power-up configuration with the lamp off. I am still working on patching it into our lighting system, though. We use LightFactory. Has anyone patched one of these before? I think we are going to have to build a...

Hello there i do hope all is well and you are doing okay. In regards to this, based on what has been discussed it sounds as if the LAMP simply needs to be replaced. However for further troubleshooting please reach out to me directly via the support email line support@elationlighting.com and we can proceed from there. Thank you

Magma Prime will not power on. Suggestions?

Matt in KY ·
I have a Magma Prime purchased second-hand that will not power on. When plugging it in nothing happens. No fan kicking on, no information on the touchscreen, no light on the power switch, no signs of life whatsoever. I've visually checked all of the standard things: Power cable, PWR switch, 9 AMP breaker pushed in. All seem perfectly fine but don't indicate operation. This Magma Prime honestly looks like a brand new unused unit except for a few trace signs of fluid in the tank and lines. I...

Hello, it seems like perhaps it was plugged into the wrong power source (IE 208V) and fried the PSU of the unit. Look at the PSU and you may find something fried on it.
