mikey wassup man? long time no see huh? how ya been. ok down to business. i would look at the design led 36 moving heads and a bunch of octo strips. what is ur budget? also look at the ELED blinder and the design panel and also the trackpod 81. jingles! and how i would mount em is put the heads towards the center of the rink and line the outside with either strips or trackpod 81's. my opinion. jingles!

OK, ten seconds of testing reveals (as I stated two weeks ago above) when you start program, FOG-STROBE-BLINDER buttons are latched ON. This was in C***** Build.13 as well and reported to them. still not fixed in Build.14 Will look at more after I put little one to bed.

Gac-man. We have a unreleased Build 20 of V 1.03. That has the following bug fixes: Solved Bugs : - Playback settings like speed, intensity, attack and bundle were not saved and loaded correctly - Global blinder hotkey did not work - The virtual dimmer did not work correctly for RGB fixtures - Fixtures with the same shape settings are now synchronized. - Playbacks did not release during a 'break' - The Load and Delete could be enabled at the same time - Removing a target from a running...

thank you for the quick response that's cool So already I'm waiting impatiently for the next version that will fix small imperfecrtions as LTP / HTP and the change of level faders because I also have more controller Midicon Berhinger BCF2000 controller and obviously there is no problem since mechanical faders are then still a little suggestion why not add to the controller Midicon mechanical faders and knobs raccouci Blinder, Strobe, and Fog of BREAK as a little frustrated to see the screen...

Hi folks! I just bought the Emulation Software and the MIDICON today. I have a generel question - apparently others than me, tried to get an answer like mine. I cannot get anything out of that. I run the software on a Windows PC. There is some Flash-buttons in the top screen: FOG, STROBE and BLINDER. 3D issues with sept 09 update
Im having a file size issue with the 3D viewer. For some reason all my 3D files sizes have increased in size and now it takes forever to load them?? Iv never had this problem before. Iv reloaded the soft wear and even gone back to that nov 08 version. Kris Burl

global buttons
1st question is Have anybody found a way to program the2 global buttons strobe and blinder to control full on of other types of lights. I have plat spot 5R and the design led brick 36 fixtures. 2nd question is can the midicon controller be used for some live hands on situations without having to program the cues and play buttons first. I can foresee some moments where i will need to control some lights quickly and directly. Thanks for any input

Hey, is there any way to add functions to the black out button? I've got some fixtures that don't respond to the black out. I was wondering if there was a way to modify the blackout feature? Possibly like the globals for strobe and blinder. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

A Mole, short for Molefay, or a Crowd Blinder. They can be 4, 6, 8, or 9 way. Wouldn't surprise me if there were some bigger one out there. They are comprised of par 38/36 lamps, normally medium lenses.

They are not cheap, and finding them used is hard to do. The design has been the same for years and years, and they are pretty indestructible, so people rarely get rid of them. As for power, all of them are at least 2 cords, sometimes more. They also just plug into a regular old dimmer like you said. As for cool down time, they cool down like a standard Par would. Elation use to make an LED version called the ELED Blinder 48 . Maybe try looking for one of these?

Currently touch pads 1-8 don't do anything, they only light up when a playback is active. Touch pads 9,10,11 are global fog, strobe and blinder. Touch pad 12 is tap tempo. In the new release 1-8 will select programming tabs, and 9-12 will be used for fixture selection.

Michael you are absolutely right. I had already figured it out. Also, you can create a group called blinder and put any fixtures in it you want like led pars or moving heads and the blinder button will make the lights full white when you press the button and off when you release the button. Now I am able to take my back line led pars and put some of them in a group named blinder and use that button. Awesome software. Wish they would implement followspot control and I'd be a happy camper!

Hey I've got a question for you. It says in the Midicon manual that the touchpad controls the global functions ie fog, strobe, blinder. But when I press I believe it is 9,10,11 respectively it does not activate the globals but instead carries out other functions. Is there any way for you guys to map out the globals for the Midicon?

Is there any Way to Make somekind of flash bottun with no fader? Ex. Pressing it turns on 1 dimmer Channel - letting go and it turns of again. ?? - and i have an other question; How Can I put my dimmer connected to the blinders onto the Global BLINDER-bottun? Regards Theis :-)

if you record a cue on the faders, the buttons at the bottom 1-8 work as flash buttons. and the global buttons will only work for that kind of fixture. if you have blinders, then the blinder button will work. unfortunately that button will not work with your dimmers.

Hi, these fixtures are brand new and aren't shipping yet, so as we get all the information together and verified and do final QC on them all, we will hold documents to ensure their accuracy first and then release it once everything is good to go. So give us a little patience while we get it all settled and keep checking the website for new info, it should all be up and available soon.
