global buttons

1st question is Have anybody found a way to program the2 global buttons strobe and blinder to control full on of other types of lights. I have plat spot 5R and the design led brick 36 fixtures. 2nd question is can the midicon controller be used for some live hands on situations without having to program the cues and play buttons first. I can foresee some moments where i will need to control some lights quickly and directly. Thanks for any input

hello ecarey1,

the global keys at the top of the software are strictly for fog machine's,strobe machines, and blinders. these will not work for any other type of fixtures. the button will only work as long as you hold it down. as soon as you let go the function will stop. there is no way of changing that. if you want something specific like that, the best thing you can do is record a scene. for the midi con, that will only trigger your cues and move your sliders on the software. it will not work as a real time controller. if you have any other questions feel free to contact me at the number bellow.
