Sorry, I fail to see why one would rely on a web forum instead of getting on the phone for making a business purchase decision UNLESS you're in active online conversation with a vendor, VAR or retailer. Nightraven's answer could have easily been had in 15-20 minutes or less total time if a phone call had been made. A company called Hybrid Cases has cases for the products you want. Yes you are correct. Switches are used as a bump/override button. Scenes are like a "hybrid" cue. A scene can have one static cue. Or it could have multiple cues in a list with fade and hold times like a cycle. You can also generate moving effects and color chases in a scene or switch. Make sense? Sincerely,

Thanks, That appears to be for the DS 575B which the Ion has a profile for. I have the Hybrid DS 575E which is 24 channel. I will look at it, but if you know of one for the "E" let me know.

Elation Proteus Maximus not working with Avolites T3
I recently purchased the T3 and everything is working fine (with a few glitches due to pc software but that's to be expected). However, I am patched into 4 x Elation Proteus Maximus fixtures (extended mode) and they will not output at all. Pan and tilt work fine just no dimmer. Random parts of the update (e.g. 3u/4u/etc.) fail when doing the final part of the update. I have one fixture of the 5 I've done thus far be successful on all counts, but the other ones have failed one or more aspect of the update. Why is that? TIA.
