That just explains channel issues, not the strobing with internal programs and stand alone. The revision of the manual is from 12/06, and the 7 channel list is from 5/07, so the manual has yet to be updated for 7 channels or 6 channel lights are still being made/sold. What I stated is merely what was in black and white in front of me and what was sent with the product. It does look nice but its still overkill from what I am talking about. It is a self contained wall mount DMX controller much like the AR-32. It can be programmed with the Easy Stand Alone software, and act as a dmx usb dongle for Sunlite/Compu. So basically it is like an Easy Stand Alone box in a fancy touch panel for the wall. OK Here goes. As of the last beta of CompuShow I tested, the profile editor still did not allow for a fixture to have multiple R, G, or B slots. Therefor, you can patch a matrix with the full profile but the effects will only work for pixel 1. (Very few console manufacturers have this capability built in to their consoles as of yet.) Build a Matrix of 3 Channel RGB Units. It can be handy to open a 3 channel LED fixture profile in the PROFILE EDITOR and name it Pixel and save it as Pixel.

Intermittent error 05, 06 & 07 DS 250
I keep getting intermittent error. When I brings the lights home, I get no error but at the show the fixture gives me 05, 06 & 07 error, I transport in the elation ATA dual case. I don't want to ship it n, because that alone is $100 round trip from Georgia, Also I have owner 6 of these fixture and error 5, 6 & 7 are the only errors I get ever get.

Design 36 LED - Initializing Problems
I have 4 Design 36 LED's. 3 are new (bought w/in the last month) and 1 was purchased in July of 07. The 3 new ones work fine. The older one behaves a little strange. First let me state that the following behavior happens when all 4 LED's are linked together and all set to the same DMX channel via the dip switches. I power-on all 4 lights and the controller (DMX Operator 192). The 3 good lights blink quickly (so I know they have power) and are quiet (no audible fan running). The bad light...

Hello there, I purchased 4 white design spot 250w... 2 work fine the other 2, I've had problems since day 1... The problem is that whenever I plug the fixture in to the power outlet, it starts to crack... Three errors on a design spot 250
I had my wife buy this unit down in Florida and it had three error messages: 05, 06 & 07. Each error could have multiple causes. EG, error coder 05 "This message will appear after a fixture reset if the color wheel’s magneticindexing circuit malfunctions (sensor failed or magnet is missing) or there is a stepper motor failure (defective motor or a defective motor IC drive on the main PCB)." How do I isolate what the cause is for each? Thanks for your help.

AlsoSuite2-BC interface not recognized
My interface isn't recognized any more. USB Suite2-BC I was running Compu Show, the June 7 release, and everything was working fine. I had an issue with the behavior of the size control for the Page Buttons and thought I'd try the latest beta Nov 29. Design Spot 250 multiple errors
One of my original design spot 250's will run fine for a few minutes then starts having issues. It appears that the first thing to crap out is the shutter then everything but the pan and tilt. I can reset the fixture and everything will function again but only for a few minutes before the same errors occur. Eventually resetting the fixture does nothing and i get the following errors: 05, 06, 07, 08, 09, 10, 13. Any suggestions?

My Compu Live 1024 EC and Win 7

Design Spot 250 error
Hi, I am getting error 05, 06 & 07. Also during the channel test, nothing happens for channels 7 (gobo retation), channel 15 (scan speed) and channel 16 (Auto Program). For Channel 2 (pan high resolution) it only moves about 2 degrees and then resets and repeats. Same with Channel 4 (Tilt high resolution). What could be causing these error? IS it something I can fix myself? I have two other units I could borrow parts from to try and fix. Thanks for your help!

thanks for the reply that's pretty much the direction I've been heading, as far as grouping compressed buttons for a song; there has to be an intent from Elation when this was designed, as far as how to group scene/switch for songs; James, do you know this??? as to the ordering, it goes a character at a time, so everything with a '1' in the first character get's grouped, then everything with a '2', and so forth; then the second character comes into play, so '1' then '10' then '11' etc to get...

Yes. If I am using the USB box with programmed scenes, it works fine. If I am using the easy stand alone program on the PC, I have issues. The LEDs are NOT plugged into the dimmer. The dimmer runs all of the house incandescent lights only. The LEDs are powered from straight 120v circuits (no dimmers) with DMX control. According to Tech support, the new software dated 12-21-07 on your web site should fix this issue. I downloaded it today and will let you know.
