There is a way to do fade/no fade using the Midi controller. You can either do it with the virtual controller on the screen, or have an external one. Unfortunately you cannot use a single button to turn the fade on and off with the virtual board, you will have to use 2 buttons, or one of the faders on the board. Lighting help. Welcome to the forums. To me that tells me that your interface is the compu pro 04 version. Is it Red or what color is it? Yes you should be able to use the latest software version with that interface. to download the latest software go to the Compu Live Software Download page. And download the Sept. 29 2009 software version. That one is our latest. for the best install i would actually recommend that you save all your work files such as any of the profiles that you may have...

Hey James, hope your holiday was good! Got to work a bit with the viz over break and everything is working well except for the colors on some the fixtures that i added in. Every color is coming up green, and I've tried using High End Trackspots v1 and high def profiles and am having the same problem. OK Here goes. As of the last beta of CompuShow I tested, the profile editor still did not allow for a fixture to have multiple R, G, or B slots. Therefor, you can patch a matrix with the full profile but the effects will only work for pixel 1. (Very few console manufacturers have this capability built in to their consoles as of yet.) Build a Matrix of 3 Channel RGB Units. It can be handy to open a 3 channel LED fixture profile in the PROFILE EDITOR and name it Pixel and save it as Pixel.

I picked up one of these blue boxes and I was hoping to use it on my MacBook Pro Laptop (Summer 2010 / OSX 10.6.3 / 2.66 GHz Intel Core i7) Is this possible; if so, what software would work the best? If you get a windows machine then you must get a 32 bit either XP vista or 7. Most new machines are only 64 bit and the 2004 model interfaces drivers are not compatible on a 64 bit windows OS. Why not just get the new Compu Cue Basic? It is a nice interface with similar features to the compu club 04 and it will work on 32 and 64 bit aswell as both compu live (2006 version) and compu Show (Newest most advanced 2011)? all those profiles should be in the latest install. Loop, please no hijacking threads. You could have made your own post. The compu pro 04 interface will NOT work on ANYTHING 64 bit. Sorry. Chucky, please try to unplug the interface and then plug it back into the computer. Also when you use tools please make sure the compu show program is not running at all. Sincerely,

eNode 4 pre-sales support questions
I'm considering the purchase of an eNode 4 ArtNet-to-DMX output device. I have some questions. 1. There doesn't appear to be any firmware download available under the Support / Downloads link on the Elation home page. Why is that? 2. I found an article in the forum that referenced a firmware updater appliance (hardware product). Does the eNode 4 indeed require a specialized appliance to perform firmware updates? If not, where are the alternate instructions and firmware update files located?

Non-responsive interface
Hi Guys: I have been using the Compuware Club 04 software for quite sometime now. Today, I turned everything on; but noticed there was no response from the interface (none of the lights showed indicating, usb,power or dmx). I checked the power cord which operates fine with another piece of equipment, and even changed the USB cable to a new one...still no power. Compu Live: What is the proper name?
In the manual it is called Compu Live. In the product page of the website it is called Compu 1024EC, Compu 2048FC, Compu 2048FC+. At various internet stores it's been called Compu 02, 04 and 06, and Compu Club and Compu Pro. And I've seen references in this forum to Compu Pro 06 and Compuware and multiple variations of that. What is the proper name(s) and what are the differences? Thanks!!

Hello everyone. At my last show which consisted of 4 DS 250's and 16 ADJ LED par 64 pro's i ran into a weird problem. I ran my DMX chain starting with DS 250's and down from there to the par cans. Whenever i plugged in any of the par cans i would loose the dmx signal to the DS 250's. I tried changing cables and moving par cans around but nothing worked. Grey Dongle
Hello I have a much older Grey USB dmx dongle that originally came with Elation 2002, when it first came out. I since upgrade to 04 blue dongle which worked with 06 Compu Live software. I hope this is a quick fix. While setting up a page in club04 using 6 SCX500's when I'm choosing white as the color the units will not accept the command instead they always go back to pink they will change to the other colors just not white all other features work fine.All 500's are address to 001. Trackspot profiles
Is there an updated profile for High End's Trackspots? V1 somewhat works, but V2 does not. (I use the 2006 version of Compuware with the blue interface). With the V1 profile, the Color and Gobo features are all screwed up. For example, Gobo #2, 3, 4, and 5 are all color scrolls, albeit different speeds. Same deal with Color. There's also about 6 or 7 different strobes--which turns out to be different flash rates. Why not just use a single strobe icon with an adjustment slider?

Problem with Compuware Club 04
We have had this program installed and running for years. Have not used it in 3 months though. When we went to use it tonight we can not get the lights to respond. Just received our order of the new Design Brick 70 II. The DMX modes in the manual don't match the modes on the fixture. Through trial and error I've figured out: Color control - 5 CH MODE (DEFAULT) Color prog - 8 CH MODE Color_Saturation Hue Intensity CT - 4 CH MODE Color prog. Hi Sounds, Cool pic! The software system is called Compu Live. However you have different option interfaces to run Compu Live. These vary in prices. Sorry, but I'm still confused. I purchased a "Compu Pro" around September of last year. At that time, there was a "2006" or was it "Compu 06" version which the Elation web site stated was "not supported". The advice at the time was install "04". Am I to assume that Compu Pro has been upgraded to Compu 2048FC? If so, was the software changed? And what version - 04 or 06? Am I entitled to a software upgrade? I am ok at compuware but have limited time so it is easier if I have pages set up with the preprogrammed movements that I can just start adding to. Also note that I am still using the 04 version of compuware. well what I'm saying is no matter what lights you buy I will be here to make profiles for em. So as kong as you use compu live 04 or 06 I'll be here to make any profile you need. And I can usually have it made for you within a few days if not one day. So let me know which one you want to buy and I will get goingvin the profiles for it. And perhaps the whole series too.
