Re: help with building a matrix
OK Here goes. As of the last beta of CompuShow I tested, the profile editor still did not allow for a fixture to have multiple R, G, or B slots. Therefor, you can patch a matrix with the full profile but the effects will only work for pixel 1. (Very few console manufacturers have this capability built in to their consoles as of yet.) Build a Matrix of 3 Channel RGB Units. It can be handy to open a 3 channel LED fixture profile in the PROFILE EDITOR and name it Pixel and save it as Pixel.

Compu Live Not Responding
I purchased Compu 1024EC and installed Compu Live (03-21-2008) on a Compaq Laptop running Vista Home Premium (32 bit). Easy Show timeline not scrolling
I am having problems with Easy Show using the 11/08 version. The timeline will not scroll correctly when playing back a show using an mp3 file. You never know when one frame ends if it is going to move to the next frame in the timeline or not. At first I thought it must be that my machine isn't powerful enough to keep up graphically. KAM Powerbar Profile
A profile for the KAM Powerbar is in the Compu Show library. But that profile does not have the functionality I need. The Powerbar is a bar with four RGB fixtures attached. With 15 channel DMX one can control Master Dim, Programs, Strobe (which affect all four fixtures) and the Red, Green and Blue of each of the four fixtures individually. I have been changing the delay number from 01 to 03 and it always seems to come on within about 20 seconds after I hit "lamp strike" in Compu. Do the number in the delay refer to minutes? If so, is there something else that I might not have set right that causes the lamp to strike at the same time no matter what delay time I have set.

thanks for the reply that's pretty much the direction I've been heading, as far as grouping compressed buttons for a song; there has to be an intent from Elation when this was designed, as far as how to group scene/switch for songs; James, do you know this??? as to the ordering, it goes a character at a time, so everything with a '1' in the first character get's grouped, then everything with a '2', and so forth; then the second character comes into play, so '1' then '10' then '11' etc to get...

Does anyone out there know what kind of device i can get to hook up this to make it work. I am using the following a toshiba laptop to run the compuware software. My video system is the numark avm01 mixer dvd 01 dual deck and avm 03 screens. i run my sound into my regular dj mixer which depending on which rig i go out with it could be the dennon dnx900 or the rane ttm57sl. so what i do is run the master from the avm01 out to one of these mixers to play the audio from the dvd that is playing...

Greetings, fan control was removed, the 5r Lamped required a fixed air flow (unlike traditional discharge lamps) meaning speed could be be variable.
