To whom it may concern, The display PCB's have changed in time but it's the same operating system. It could be either a bad display or a bad PCB inside. If it's within the 2 year warranty your best bet would be to send it in for warranty repair. You can always send an email to rma@elationlighting.com to set you up with a RMA to send it in. If it's not under warranty anymore and if you have another working unit with the same color display, you can always start by trying to swap out the...

Hi John, Thanks for the quick reply. Unfortunately the console has been part of the house system which they are using to control some prooven reliable Entours 250 and other Martin gears. They can't return the console. I'm trying to introduce/integrate the Elation professional products with other "industry standard" professional products. I just inquire to see if others have use this kind of set up. I will try to contact Marc of CASE console again for assistance. Regards,

Yes, we do have a new theatrical DS250 color wheel. The part number is DS250CW2. To determine what the best way to replace it on your specific fixture and to order the part, please give a call to Elation Service at 866.245.6726. Very soon, we plan to have 2 different fixture models for the change in color wheel.

Re: question for a friend.

This is a frequently asked question, and the best answer I can give is that it is possible, but very difficult. The Compu Live spotlight feature will work in lining up a group of fixtures together and focusing or moving them on a single position. The difficult part is the variables involved in using a remote spotlight, such as smooth pan and tilt movement, hard stops on an individual point, and the persons ability to accurately execute a real time followspot effect on the controller. As far...

sup guys! Just wanted to let you guys know that i called Elation service center today and i explained my situation and they told me try some stuff and well in the end turns out the main circuit board (mother board) is burnt.Due to a power surge that happened the last time i used the lights. I didn't think it was that cause all the other lights work fine.anyways got the part ordered.I'll let you guys know what happens when it gets replaced.Again thanks for everything.

Yes.. I am sure if you contact the service rep who took your order will be more than happy to take the part back. Keep in mind that anything is possible with moving lights.. They are like cars.. sometimes you need to see what's under the hood of your car. In many DJ lights, they say don't open your lights or your void your warranty. Not true with Elation lights. They are made to be opened up and serviced and checked out. This is what makes them run longer than other fixtures. Best regards,

switch 7 and 11 on for stand alone mode. 1+7 on = program 1 2+7 on = program 2... All of the programs except #8 (seitch 1+3+7+11) have a strobe part that makes the program look bad. If this is intended then it seems like a mistake.

It is a way for each and every (DMX Compatible ) light, made by any manufacturer, to interact with an universal DMX controller. In a standard DMX protocol (called 512-DMX protocol) there are a total of 512 "channels" In order to get your lights to interact with the controller, you must address them. i'm not sure.. the most expensive part in these units are the LED's themselves, and the PCB that holds the LED's.. the main pcb is simply the card that holds information. These aren't to expensive. But if its under warranty.. that's better!

Depends on the show Drew. More complicated shows generally have time to program, and its just like Elation_Pro said, someone hitting 'Go'. Sometimes, it is linked to time code, so no one is even hitting go. Cruise ships are a good example, all the shows run off of time code, and the show starts when the sound guy hits play. The fun shows are the ones you have no idea what you are getting into. It is even more fun with movers. Running movers on the fly is often called busking. More powerful...

But yes, seems the 2 options are either a low profile up-light from the crown molding along the sides, (traditionally churches put florescent bulbs here), or some sort of tiny can(or long thin) fixture on each beam washing down on the congregation.

Lighting doesn't just light. It helps set the mood and accents the room as well. Movement is also a part of lighting, and with it adds another dimension. Wait. I knew it was one 20w LED, but a white one? That makes no sense at all. LEDs don't emit the full range of visible light. This is why when you have RGB all on, it is not a true 'white' because they don't cover the range to make white. Color media, be it gel or glass, work by blocking certain parts of the visible light spectrum to make color. So we have a source that doesn't emit the full range of visible light with color media to try and change it different colors? Even if they were...

Yes it does. I am still wondering if they are going to make different plates for them like Coemar has for their ParLite LED series, which is the direct comparison to Elation's DLED36. I have actually found that musicians love the LEDs over conventionals do to the lack of heat. They also love that I can get 'high' powered lights into a space with little to no power and not have to worry about tripping breakers. The nice part when someone thinks something is too bright, dim it. And then when...

Re: design 108

Have you ever tried tricking the LEDs into the white you want? What I mean is, if I want a more 3200k white, I drop out some blue and a little green and run the red full up. If I want a more 5600k, I drop some red out. This lowers the total output of the light in 'white'. However, it gets me what I want out of the LEDs without the need for white and amber LEDs. More LEDs means more money as well as a larger unit physically. One of the great advantages to LEDs is that they are small yet...

But there is another work around for that if you intrested. let me know. Hope this make sense. Sincerely,
